What about Heatley? New linemates in the IIHF tournament and lead all skaters in goals and points.

Gerber!

Alfredsson, we always struggle with him out of the line up. He does everything.

Gerber?!?!?! All he did was win the starting job from Emery, give dirty looks to his defenceman when there is a goal! Plus he collapsed in the playoffs like Thornton does

yeah i agree, playmaking centers who are that good are very hard to come by. also Spezza is very underrated on these boards. I think it is...(in order)

Spezza
Heatley
Alfredsson

Alfredsson has the best combination of offense, defence and work ethic.

Redden plays for New York

Alfredsson is Ottawa's best player.

Alfredsson
Heatley
Spezza

All by a hair. Ones an all around, Selke calibre, 40goal scoring MONSTER of a captain. One is a 50-50 guy, who will score you goals at big times. The other is a young breathtaking offensive dynamo.

Yeah, Alfie is the worst of the CASH line. But Spezza and Heatley:

Spezza: 68 GP 05-06 19-71-90 On pace for:23-86-109
67 GP 06-07 34-53-87 On pace for:44-65-109
76 GP 07-08 34-58-92 On pace for:37-63-100

Heatley 82 GP 05-06 50-53-103
82 GP 06-07 50-55-105
71 GP 07-08 41-41-82 On pace for: 47-47-96

I like Heatley because he's a goal scorer

Gerber & Redden are a force to be reckoned with... Heatley, Spezza & Alfy are okay... but if you compare them to the likes of Redden & Gerber you should be checked...

Why have you not responded to the fact that Wade Redden doesn't even play for Ottawa?

Funny, because without him, Spezza and Heatley had a combined 2 assists with a -9 in 4 games in the playoffs last year.

They're all very good, but I think Alfie is still the better player, due mostly to his experience.

Spezza and Heatley still have room to improve.

I know everyone on this board is completely gay for Alfredsson but I think Spezza is the best.

Most non-Sens fans will say Heatley [or some will say Spezza]. But for people who actually watch the Sens, it's Daniel Alfredsson and not even close for me.

The guy is a beast defensively. Plays on our #2 PK [could play on the first but too much ice-time there then]. He would have been our #1 player offensively last year had he not gotten injured. His work Ethic just shows on the ice.....

Daniel Alfredsson, if healthy, would've been third in scoring last year [missed 12 games...] and one of the best defensive forwards in the league. I'm not sure it's even worth arguing for other two since it's who's a better player?
BTW, Nyquil, Where's your signature?

Spezza is the best combination of speed and scoring ability in that whole division.

Yeah, Spezza isn't very fast.

I'd call him above average, and that's when he's really on his horse.

He's probably the best stick-handler/dangler and has the best on-ice vision of the trio.
