yea, but i still think spezza is alot harder of a player to come by and i think his defense is better

and redden isnt on ottawa anymore

yeah i agree, playmaking centers who are that good are very hard to come by. also Spezza is very underrated on these boards. I think it is...(in order)

All by a hair. Ones an all around, Selke calibre, 40goal scoring MONSTER of a captain. One is a 50-50 guy, who will score you goals at big times. The other is a young breathtaking offensive dynamo.

Gerber & Redden are a force to be reckoned with... Heatley, Spezza & Alfy are okay... but if you compare them to the likes of Redden & Gerber you should be checked...

Funny, because without him, Spezza and Heatley had a combined 2 assists with a -9 in 4 games in the playoffs last year.

They're all very good, but I think Alfie is still the better player, due mostly to his experience.

Spezza and Heatley still have room to improve.

Most non-Sens fans will say Heatley [or some will say Spezza]. But for people who actually watch the Sens, it's Daniel Alfredsson and not even close for me.

The guy is a beast defensively. Plays on our #2 PK [could play on the first but too much ice-time there then]. He would have been our #1 player offensively last year had he not gotten injured. His work Ethic just shows on the ice.....

Daniel Alfredsson, if healthy, would've been third in scoring last year [missed 12 games...] and one of the best defensive forwards in the league. I'm not sure it's even worth arguing for other two since it's who's a better player?

Yeah, Spezza isn't very fast.

I'd call him above average, and that's when he's really on his horse.

He's probably the best stick-handler/dangler and has the best on-ice vision of the trio.
