Redden's ratings look pretty high IMO, but maybe its a sign of things to come.

Im think Im done NHL games. I mastered the old way, now I totally blow with the skill stick thing

But Redden and Zherdev have nice stats, hopefully they dont get injured during your season ;D I would shut off my xbox without saving if that happened, hahah.

I noticed they didnt give Lundqvist one stat in the 90's....weak

Yeah, I still wonder how they get these stats....pretty terrible. I'm going to have to fix a bunch of people as soon as I put the game in. I hoped that I wouldn't have to update players so soon.

This is the biggest joke in sports ratings history.

Betts is a little low. I'd put him at 73 minimum. Prucha is high at 85. He numbers decline yet he goes up like 3 pts? Mara is a little high at 83. Lundqvist should atleast be an 88 IMO. I'm happy to see Zherdev and Redden at 90's.

There's no overall rating, you guys are just looking at offensive awareness, though there are some funny ones like Sjo's speed rating.

All of these numbers are generated from point production, physical stats (weight / height) and scouting reports. They're really never correct and frankly Canadian players are always rated higher than they should be as well.

I wonder, do they use this tactic for other sports games? When I used to play Madden I never noticed any real glaring miscalculations.

Most of them look a little too slow. and Betts and Girardi are once again severely underrated. Betts should at least have superb defensive awareness and faceoffs.

Staal is too low.

Prucha is too high.

How is Prucha faster than Z.

Redden is pretty high.

i could care less about that rating as long as it they made the game better even tho it would be hard to top, last years game was my favorite sports game ever, and i think every game critic felt the same way

Those aren't overall ratings, they are offensive awareness ratings.

09 is going to be amazing. EA Sports Hockey League sounds absolutely incredible. It looks like they tweaked the gameplay enough to fix things too. I can't wait.
