Vapor XIX. Got them for a good price too. Nice and light, stiff boot, very comfortable. I can only truley account for the comfyness though, I haven't bought ice skates in like 10+ years ha.(I'm sure they are heavy, soft, etc to people using top of the line stuff, but they suit me perfectly).

The greatest skates I've ever put on.. rbk 8k's They've taken a beating though, so I'm checking out some 9k's (for the future)

The are hands down the snuggest, yet most comfortable skates I've ever experienced. Zero lace bite. The skate clamps are awesome and the padding is pretty close to figure skater level (yet I don't have to wear the ridiculous outifts

Graf Supra 735's. Easily worth the money. I'll never go to another brand of skate...

I just got a brand new pair of CCM U's. There unbelievably light but a little pricey.

vapor xxx.

they were made for Adam Hall but he never used them. i still dont find them very comfy after using them for 2 seasons so will get something else. i guess they just don't fit my feet too good.

got them from sports exchange in Van.

If I played competitively, I'd go for more expensive gear Right now I use some midrange Bauer Vapor X series skates... about $250 CAD, but a great improvement from my Bauer Vapor 3s (way beyond their useful life).

Graf's are, IMO, the best skates ever. I convinced the sales guy to let me try on a pair... they were so comfy.

i have some pro stock one90s.. with white tuuk ls2's the tongue is the same as the one95's and there are like 4 or 5 small holes in the bottom... probably like what you are describing, but they came like that new.

Graf 703's with a Tuuk + runner. ShockDoctor inserts.

I had some RBK's for a bit though, and they were very comfortable - I'd like to pick up a 7 or 9k and put a litespeed on them.

That's quite a change in fit from RBKs to 703's.

Haha, for sure - my first few shifts at open hockey after the switch weren't too pretty! The 703's feel almost old school compared to RBK's - alot more play in the ankle.

See, the 703's were my original skates, but I didn't play for over 10 years. When I started up again, the Grafs were without runners, so I just picked up some RBK's that I found for a decent price. I really started to get into it again, so figured it was worth it to get some steel on the Grafs, if even for a backup. Started skating the Grafs almost exclusively, and sold the RBK's to buy a stick, etc.... Nicely broken- in Grafs are hard to beat (short story made long )

That said, I'd like to try the RBK boot with Tuuks. The '09s are out soon (or out already) so maybe I can pick up some for a decent price.
