I like Filatov to have an Alfreddson like career, but I'm going with the easy answer of Tavares. I still believe he'll be the Sakic to Crosby's Gretzky and Ovechkin's Lemieux.
Well right now it´s a landslide in favor of Tavares. I have seen both play and Stamkos looks better atm. Though Tavares is 1 year younger so it can change for sure.

I have seen both play too, and I think Tavares looks better at the moment.. Stamkos is more complete though, but Tavares is better offensively..

Better career doesn't mean better offensively. Could mean alot of things. That's why this is kind of a poorly worded question. Could mean conn smythe/cup winner, best leader, best all-round player... etc.
Anyway, I really have no idea as I've never seen any of them play. I will pick at random.
I felt like being a little different, so I went with a kid who's a star in the making and has been a star at every level, Paajarvi. The kid will be a very good player. He's truly a fun one to watch. This is a tough list to pick from though. It's just too easy for me to take Tavares, so I thought about things a lot more.

7 months gives Tavares an entire SEASON of development time. At this stage of a prospect's career, 7 months difference is not the same age.
And he's not a year older either. I've tried to argue that exact same point in another discussion and get riipped for it. Both '90 born let's just leave it at that.

I can agree with that.
I think the majority of the time people are saying he's a year older is probably referring to the fact that Stamkos was an '08 product and Tavares an '09er. But I get ya.
