For me...my man in the Avatar...i'm praying he proves a lot of haters from other teams wrong and racks up 35G, 45 assists

In my opinion, we aren't going to win the cup this year, so I'm mostly looking forward to seeing the young guys improve. I picked Staal because if he plays this year like he did in last year's playoffs then we're in for a treat.

Went with Zherdev. Hoping he will keep us on the edge of our seats night in and night out.

Second would be Hank. Hoping this is the year he puts a solid season together from start to finish.

Third would be Staal. Hoping he starts coming into his own, picks up the physical play a bit, and puts the puck in the net a few times too.

Considering they could be around as Rangers a lot longer, I'm really looking forward to seeing how the youngins' (I'll include Hank too though) progress. Not offense to the Vets like Naslund, Gomez, and Drury. Just prefer to see a spectacular season by someone at the beginning of his career then at the end or middle.

Each one's really got something going for them. Wanna see Hank put together a consistantly elite season and win the Vezina, wanna see Staal progress to grow into our anchor on the blue line, wanna see Zherdev razzle and dazzle us with some game breaking perfomances! I choose "All of the Above"

I guess I'll have to vote Zherdev though so people will stop *****ing about how we don't have a forward to draw the attention of the enemy's stop defenders.

zherdev because i love the skill the kid has and am hoping, on the big stage, he will rise and reach his true potential.....

next would be staal as i think his future is very very bright

and finally drury, who i think will have a much better season(70-75pts) as the captain of this team this season

I voted for Zherdev. I think he has the potential to be something really special and to bring some pure skill to the team. Hopefully this one works out in our favor.

no Redden as a choice? Just curious. I think his contract is bad, but I believe he can quietly put up solid numbers and anchor that blue line. Just a thought, seeing Ranger fans might enjoy him.

As a hater, but still an NHL fan... I'm curious to see what Gomez and/or Zherdov do. I can see them with some slick looking moves out there.

I went with Naslund so i would limit the expectations for Zherdev a bit.

What about Dubinsky. I want to see him the most this year and see how his second season plays out. #2 for me is Cally to see what he can actually do in a full season. #3 for me is Prucha. I am really curious if he can pull it around and show that his first two years aren't a fluke, or if he really does suck ass.

for the new guys, it's All Zherdev. Excited to see him wearing a Rangers jersey. Can't wait to see what he does. also i am very intrigued by Kalinen. If he stays healthy he might be a good surprise.

Zherdev, by far.

Superstar potential, and he's still young.

For the sheer amount of raw talent he has, I had to go with Zherdev. He has the potential to be a tremendous player, I hope he can find his game.

..that and I didn't want to jinx Staal's development.

I picked Zherdev like basically everyone else. But this thread is making me think he's got great potential to let us down and will be drawing the wrath of the garden faithful come a few months.

I said Lundquist. With good support in his own zone this year, Vezina here he comes.

Dubi a big #2. Without Jagr, It should be interesting if he continues to play at an elite level for a young kid. He is very poised. I think he will continue to grow and have a tremendous year.... for a 3rd line center. He's the best 3rd line center from Alaska who has played in hartford. That, I assure you.

I went with Markus "The Nazgul" Naslund. I think he's going to prove A LOT of people wrong. He will pot 30.
