Yvon Pedneault on 110%

Hope it isn't a re-post, but TQS's 110% drafted a new player!

Didn't somebody crack a joke about him ending up on 110% in the original 'pednault gets fired' thread?

Yep. I think it was more of a hope he wouldn't join that gong show than a joke though.

I have to say that passing from RDS analyst to a 100% clown is sad for him, I feel bad for him. He must not be very happy right now.

Actually, if more Pedneault means less Dufault, Hoziel, Rinfret and some others......it might be a good move in trying (and I emphasize trying....) to make that show more respectable.

Still a long way to go, but as much as people hated Pedneault for his job on RDS, he's more than adequate at the very least compared to what they have right now. Pedneault is better when he's prepared than when he's on the spot...

I totally agree here, he could be a nice addition to the show... bringing some VALId and researched points...

at least he knows his stuff

People are overrating Pednault, he could get pretty ridiculous on RDS at times. Was fairly common for him to spend all night ragging on guys for something while completely missing/ignoring other stuff. He could get annoying and stale pretty quickly which is why a lot of people weren't too unhappy to see him go, time for some fresh air on that RDS telecast.

He goes from being paid to talk about hockey to being paid to talk about hockey. For some reason I just can't see him being unhappy. He's getting paid to sit around and talk about hockey!

A Mathias Brunet, François Gendron, Yvon Pedneault and Jean Perron (for a few good laughs and coach experience) panel with Jean Pagé hosting the show isn't that bad.

It only gets worst when clowns like Rinfret, Amyot are there .

He is definately not overrated!!
he is one of the miost bashed hockey analyst... soo many people complained about him and hated him, I don't getr where you get that..

and your second point isn't better; he is not analyst anymore; he can't missing/ignoring other stuff if there are none, I think he could do a good job at 110 even if the show was pretty bad the last few years (since Paul Rivard left)

I remeber seeing once a big, long haired, dark geeky glasses, broken french, carrying around a note book and cursing and yelling at everything.

That guy had issues.

Page is mediocre as animator, he always let the show degenerate, 110% would have advantage to give Francois Gagnon that job, who is doing a good job among that bunch of clowns.. But like another one said, La zone is miles away 110%... Guys like Lebeau, Dubé, Desjardins.. are doing an amazing job, they know their hockey alot..

Gagnon as an animator is a waste of talent since he brings some good arguments throughout the show and wouldn't be able to do so as an animator, at least not as much. I actually hate Rinfret as an analyst, but as an animator.....wouldn't be bad especially since we don't hear him much that way.... Other people might be more interesting 'cause not seeing Rinfret's face would be better but I don't think of anybody yet.....maybe Pedneault could replace Pagé in the end....

Sure La Zone is better, I do appreciate more the analysts there though Villeneuve still frustrates with me with his occasionnal shots at the organization for nothing (though nobody will beat the irritating Marc Bureau in that domain...)

I'm not sure I'll like Desjardins too much now.........Seems to me like he has some unfinished business with our org. and use those moments to settle some scores, especially now that he's an official Flyer.
