Oh cool, it took me so long to get home that I didn't get to make sure my K and DEF were my last two picks. That's awesome.

I will have a look.

Edit: You have the Vikings defense, you don't like them? They have a solid defense!

It helps, yes.

I'm somewhat new too. I've participated before, but always was unavailable when the draft took place and did 'autodraft'.

If I trade you one of me defenses, then I will have one. What good does that do me?

I only have one TE.

I opted to go with 2 defense, 2 kickers.

I think you can make some adjustments on the waiver wire...keep an eye out.

An extra defense and TE and K is kinda redundant. I can see having 2 defenses if you want to play matchups but 2 K's?? no thanks.

I have like 4 backup RB's and I'm fine with that.

You can get a ton of points with those extra RB's/WR and even a serviceable QB on the bench -- kickers and even defense and TE's are waiver wire fodder, as far as I'm concerned.

And just how does the waiver wire work?

Basically, a 2nd K, TE, and DEF are all waiver wire transactions during the season.

Well, with both the Pats and Cowboys defenses...I'm hopeful someone will want to talk 'trade' at some point.

Team Mike Cannon Richards

Starters
QB Donovan McNabb
RB Brian Westbrook
RB Edgerrin James
WR Larry Fitzgerald
WR Anquan Boldin
WR Joey Galloway
TE Dallas Clark
K Jason Elam
DEF Baltimore

Bench
QB Vince Young
RB Kevin Smith
RB Kenny Watson
RB Rashard Mendenhall
WR Justin Gage
RB Adrian Peterson (CHI) (I am dropping him to pick up another player once the waivers go through)

My analysis: I basically own Arizona and Philly's offense which is ok except they all have the same bye week, so I will lose week 7 no doubt. However, Boldin might be traded to another team, which may change the bye there.

My bench has Kevin Smith and Rashard Mendenhall in hopes one of them has a breakout season. Depth at RB will quickly vanish with injuries to an old EDGE and fragile Westy, but I hope the young ones step up.

My bye week DEF, TE, and K will all be waiver wire pickups and I no doubt will have a different looking team by the end of the year, hopefully I have the depth and potential to make the superbowl.

Keys to the season
-Healthy McNabb, Westbrook, and EDGE
-One of Kevin Smith or Rashard Mendenhall turning into a solid Starting RB (not expecting another Adrian Peterson, just good points every week)

On my wishlist
-Joey Galloway doesn't let 37 slow him down
-Vince Young DOESNT suck this year
-Justin Gage is the number 1 in an improved Tennessee passing game
-Make a trade to help WR or DEF

I'll bet David Garrard is your #1 QB by seasons end.
