i stole this from the pens thread, anyhow, alot of people will choose sundin and please as much as id take joe sakic, i think its avs or retirement, but that said, id take a show with nagy. we dont have much in wingers with offensive skill, nagy can score 20-25 on this team but he does tend to get hurt but is only 29 years old. i know he signed in russia but i think he has a clause in his contracrt.

what r ur choices. I think Nagy is a good choice for this team since we r deep at centre.

gomez
drury
dubinsky
blair
danny
ani
sjostrom can play center
moore can play center
korpedo can play center

yeah obviously we need depth at center.....see a disconnect here?

nagy? we need a winger?

nasland
z
dawes
prucha
callahan
sjostrom

all top 3 line wingers

4 of which can score 20-25 goals.......see a disconnect here?

my answer, none....

in all honesty man, do you think you have learned anything from posting on this board? i come here for info, and to learn more about the rangers and hockey in general, but i don't understand how you still ask the same questions, which are without a doubt, the wrong questions....

Nagy seems like a clone of Samsonov and we really don't need that. I don't think there is a FA out there that'll help unless sundin wants to sign for <2mil

Nagy already signed in Russia.

I don't think we need more FA's, so my answer is: nobody.

I think that signing Sundin to be our true #1 center and moving Drury to 2nd line LW makes us a contender, if only for a year. If it can be done, I'd do it.

Mats Sundin if we can get him on the cheap. Brendan Shanahan as a backup for cheap and to put on the 3rd line

Just thought I'd point that out.

Nagy has scored 20+ goals on three seperate occassions and prior to etting hurt last year he was having a very decent season (was on pace for yet another 50+ point season)

I wouldn't champion the idea of signing him, but he's a better player thank you allude to

His price could drop if he wants to come back. Not impossible. He'd beef up the blueline

Even though there's no chance, Selanne.

Sundin if we can squeeze him in. If we have to trade Prucha to make room, that's fine. Other than that, no one. I'd rather let the players we have try to show that they are good enough to play 2nd line winger.

If we find that we lack scoring we can make a move during the season.

Ah me too. As much as I'd be willing to give Prucha another chance, I'd prefer Selanne for a season. Would solidy the top 2 lines.

Mats Sundin... I have never been a big fan of his but I think we need one more top 6 forward and we need his size

Markov's already said he's staying in Russia this season.

As for the topic, there are no free agents remaining on the market that I want to sign.
