AnGus could be a perfect replacement for him if Perrault turns into a good 2nd liner.

I have doubts about Perrault. He seems small and lacks the effort that a less skilled Bourque is giving. If CB doesnt make it, I dont see how Perrault will without the effort

D looks pretty damn good, and the forwards look VERY deep.

Kristo-White-D'Agostini
Lapierre, Conboy

Markov-Komisarek
McDonagh-O'Byrne
Carle-Valentenko
Subban, Fischer, Weber

Price
Halak

With FAs counted, hopefully there would be an addition at center. The D is a bit tough to predict, with Gorges, Valentenko, Fischer, Weber, Carle, O'byrne and Subban all battling for spots. Oh, and possibly Emelin too, cripes.

Outstanding goaltending, great and deep D, excellent depth and quality on the wings. Good checking centers, but lacking in scoring centers. Hopefully a UFA or the 1st rounder in 09 could fix that up.

Kostitsyn-Plekanec-Kostitsyn
Pacioretti-White-Latendresse
Higgins-Maxwell-Kristo
Lapierre-Koivu-Quailer

Gorges-Komisarek
McDonagh-O'Byrne
Valentenko-Fischer

Price
Desjardins

Was Briere traded? Timonen is also yunder contract n his final year just like Hartnell.. (I think?)
Hopefully Gagne (if healthy) takes a pay cut in 5 years.

Why not.

Tedenby-Parise-Vasyunov
Elias-Zajac-Bergfors
Hoeffel-Cormier-Palmieri
Rolston-Vrana-Clarkson

Oduya-Martin
Burlon-Corrente
Eckford-Fayne
Greene

Brodeur
Frazee

I think we are going to draft a goalie this year that will be better than frazee. So he will probably replace him.

Axelsson - Datsyuk - Cleary
Hudler - Zetterberg - Franzen
Mursak - Filppula - Helm
Anderson - Emmerton - Kopecky

Ericsson - Rafalski
Kronwall - Stuart
Smith - Nicastro

McCollum
Larsson

From a realistic point of view this isn't a very likely lineup.

Looks like the '08 draft treated your team very well.

And what is believed to be the strongest draft in some time, the '09 draft gave you nothing, apart from the gimme that is Tavares?

honestly i would think that Stamkos in 5 years would have to be your number 1 over a 32+ Lecavalier

Malone-Stamkos-Vrbata

I'll take a stab at the future Yotes.

Boedker-Turris-Mueller
MacLean-Hanzal-Doan
Carcillo-Porter-Kolarik
Tihkhonov-Winnik-Lisin
Summers

Michalek-Yandle
Ross-Anhelov
UFA-UFA

Extremely deep forward corps with no defense to speak of.

future Hurricanes:

Drayson Bowman - Eric Staal - Tuomo Ruutu
Patrick Eaves - Zach Boychuk - Justin Williams
Nick Dodge - Brandon Sutter - Harrison Reed
Nicolas Blanchard - Stefan Chaput - Chad LaRose
Ryan Weston, Chris Terry.

Joni Pitkanen - Tim Gleason
Jamie McBain - Anton Babchuk
Casey Borer - Kyle Lawson
Brett Carson, Michal Jordan

Cam Ward
Mike Murphy

obviously draft picks and the like could change this up a good bit, but this is just working with what they have in the system right now.

This is really an exercise in futility, but why not?

Drury-Gomez-Cherepanov
Dawes-Dubinsky-Zherdev
Korpikoski-Anisimov-Fritsche
Byers-Pyatt-???

Staal-Sanguinetti
Redden-Girardi
Del Zotto-Rozsival

Lundqvist
Wiikman

Good center depth, IMO. Looks a bit weak on the LW side though. Though I don't see this line-up happening.
