This Gorges/Chipchura/Gainey thing is more stale than the comedy on the Sens board.

It's just really really not funny.

(I write this fully knowing that some lame son of a ***** will likely reply to this message with a Gorges/Chipchura/Gainey comment...)

*I was pigeon-holed once. I made a promise to myself never to get that drunk again.
Fight for your right to be known as a French-Canadian retard!

Gorges being Captain of the Famed Kelowna Rockets is not a joke. He really was their captain FYI.

Maybe people should research more about the Habs players they so wittingly laugh at before makling some of their comments.

Gorges was defintely underated and the biggest surprise on the team last season. Following his gaff in the Atlanta game (I believe) he was strong and steady the rest of the year.

Here is hoping he picks up where he left off.

Agreed, Bouillon is good to have for this year, but next year with O'Byrne and Gorges having more experience he definitely needs to go and be replaced by one of the youngster.

Yea Gorges was my biggest surprise by far this season. His first season with us was a disaster. I expected him to be on our team at the begining to give him a chance, and later on only replace people who were injured. He stepped up his game, and got my respect. Hope he keeps the fuel burning at that rate. (screw global warming, this is habs!)

+1

Also includes the Latendresse post 15 stuff, the Hossa smiley, etc. People on this board really know how to run a joke/fad into the ground.

I like the way Gorges played last year. He never gives up on a play, and shows a lot of heart. If he gets even more confidence, he can be a steady top 4 defenseman in the nhl.

Even there I doubt it...

Doesn't Markov usually take double shifts on the PP?

I think he's gonna get a chance on the 2nd PP this year.
