Smolinski ?

Does anyone know where he is? Can he go play for another team if he wanted to or does the canadiens have his rights? Just curious.

Unrestricted Free Agent.

Has yet to sign anywhere, haven't heard much about him at all this summer.

He's been playing for the Bulgarian national women's hockey team.

Actually I saw him around town a couple of times early in the summer. My understanding was he wanted to come back, but didn't get an offer.

Funny, I was hoping to be offered a contract too. Sucks to be Smoke and I.

In the regular season YES he was THAT BAD.
He was also awesome in the playoffs but I would rather have a kid eating those minutes all season long.

I hope your not talking about a Plan B for us 'cause we have enough centers and Chipchura need to start the season on the 3rd or on the 4th line.

And yes, he was that bad in the season.

He was a nice surprise in the playoffs, but I rather have some of the young guys play instead.

And by nice surprise in the playoffs, I hope you're only talking about a few games against Boston, because he wasn't anything special after that. He was terrible and I never want to see him in or around Montreal again.

Maybe if he signs somewhere else we can just borrow him for the games against New Jersey.

He's not our property anymore, so nothing happens. He'll just be a guy sitting at home without a contract.

Actually laughed IRL, and I can't recall another time that has happened on this forum... It's deceptively amusing... like what a bad joke... snicker... lulz.
