Thanks for the info, I would like to attend.

This camp is tons more exciting because these rookies will be trying to earn an invite to the big camp a week later.

You're forgetting the goalie Olivier Michaud. Didn't he play a period of hockey for us and not get scored against? Confirmed on hockeydb. 18 minutes, 14 saves, 0 GA in 01/02. I think it was against Oilers.

I think this team would be favoured against the Leafs...

Pre-season schedule

The Canadiens open rookie camp begins Sept. 15, 2008 at the Bell Centre, which runs until the 18th. Then the big boys invade the Bell Centre on Sept. 19 for physicals and medicals, before camp starts in full on the 20th. As usual, the club will be alternating between the Bell Centre and the Verdun Auditorium for the majority of training camp, but they will also spend a couple of days in St-Jovite at the beginning of October.

The Habs begin their exhibition season with a "road trip" to Roberval to play the Buffalo Sabres, then they continue on to Detroit to take on the defending champs on the 24th. The remainder of the games are as follows:
* Sept. 26, 2008 -- Ottawa Senators at the Bell Centre
* Sept. 27, 2008 -- at the Ottawa Senators, ScotiaBank Place
* Sept. 28, 2008 -- Florida Panthers at the Bell Centre
* Sept. 30, 2008 -- Detroit Red Wings at the Bell Centre
* Oct. 1, 20008 -- Boston Bruins at the Bell Centre
* Oct. 4, 2008 -- Minnesota Wild at the Bell Centre

They can pay from their pocket like Conboy and Kishel last year. Wasn't Stejskal there too?

I guess they figured D'Agostini and Aubin have been through the drill enough times already. As I had guessed, Lacasse not on the list either (though invited to the big camp). The list is pretty standard, nothing unexpected other than perhaps Kristo. No unknown invites.

I like the looks of that training camp list. So much depth!

Well, that's fine for Kristo but Stejskal is in the NCAA...

Stejskal was not at the rookie camp last year, only dev. camp.

So Chad Anderson is there but not Shawn Belle? Though that those guys would be directly invited to the main camp like Glumac and Flinn and the other vets. Anderson looks like a Leafs type of prospect in a rookie camp....

Would have love to see Belle though.

Is Conrad Martin officially a Bulldog? I missed that memo....

Aubin, D'Agostini and Stewart directly to the main camp. Though for the first one, it's not exactly 'cause he's so close compared to the other 2.....

Isn't there 1 or 2 try-outs missing? Where's Bolduc?

Just realized I won't be able to attend the rookie camp.....it's during the week only....Sucks even though my work is 1 minute from the Bell Centre, if they would have had something during lunch, I would have been able to attend.

It's nice to see Paquet attending the main camp but am I missing something?

Not sure I like Tanguay's new number....XX.....
