lol...yeah some of those Samsonov interviews were classic.
I always found Samsonov to be fairly articulate - especially considering English was his second language.

I wasn't being insulting, since I know how hard it is to try and learn a 2nd language...I'm currently dating a Russian woman and trying to learn some Russian. But when Samsonov first came into the league, he tried to force big words into his sentences that didn't quite fit. Now he's not too bad, but it took him awhile.

"Y'know, y'know, y'know"

Are you sure that Lang and Raycroft didn't change identities and you now have a 3rd goalie?

I haven't heard Datsyuk speak before. But I saw a youtube clip the other day of Malkin delivering season tickets to a Pen's fan that was funny.

I didn't think you were taking a shot at him. Just commenting in general. I was surprised by how well Samsonov spoke English - you could hardly tell at all that he was Russian.

If he's "lazy" this year like Kovy was lazy last year, we're winning the Cup.

anyone notice how many times Kovy uses "like I said" line in between sentences?

Press: so Kovy what do you think of big macs?
Kovy: Like i said, big macs are good the sauce is good, but like i said we will have to try the big mac without sauce to really answer that question, like i said.

You know, even if you're a rich hockey superstar, it doesn't mean you can't enjoy a nice road trip! Especially if you have the time, all alone, thinking about next season...

good interview...but I am pretty sure he is not here for the rookie camp. He is here to participate in optional skates with the rest of the NHL roster. I think they said 3/4 of the team was skating today.

I love Lang already.
He is excited and that is great, and I am sure I know why.

He has played with Kane but now he gets to play with Kostitsyn whom everyone knows is better.

( who do I sound like?)
