Seeing him interviewed on TSN he looks pumped to be a Hab and I am hoping for a 60pt season from him for sure.

Good point. 5 4th liners = 3 playing + 2 forwards in press box. Chipchura may be in minors if he doesn't outplay Dandenault in training camp.

I'd love to have a 6'2", Czech centre but I'm not really interested in Bonk II. He had, pretty much, 10 goals less then Sundin and played, about, the same amount of games, so that isn't too shabby. Perhaps he'll make the 16-or-so hour drive to Halifax next week, haha.

Chipchura should be in the minors if he doesn't outplay Lapierre for the centerman position. That's his only hope. At his age, 13th forward, not ideal but maybe. But 14th forward? Better play in Hamilton.

Like I have said in the past, just like many, we where not going to start this season that tine a center. Also, it will be a good competition between Lapierre and Chipper.
I see Chipper edging Lapierre this time around but will more likely start in Hamilton.
The only way I see Chipper winning a spot would be if he outdo Lapierre by a mile in the faceoff. Lapierre has that almost in the pocket.
Either way, this team looks great.

Good point, but I also heard that Lapierre may be moved to wing. Well counting Chips, we got 6 4th liners so Chips got to be in the top 3 to make it. I'm not too high on Chips and I hope he is trait bait. He definately got some good press for captaining team Canada. Then again, maybe it's best for him to improve in Hamilton all year because we may need him to fill a roster position next year. Maybe he can be the 3rd line winger we need next year after Lang is not re-signed.

Don't you mean 3rd line center if you're talking about Lang?

If Streit was still here, we could add "Che Cro-a" to this.

I'm sure he's not allowed to fly so close to the season's beginning.

And having 2 habs in the same Cesna is a VERY bad idea

I'm also hoping that he plays with Higgins and Sergei. To have 3 players on one line with some playmaking abilities will hopefully result with more give and go tic tac toe.

According to Google Maps it takes 14 hours to drive from Chicago to Montreal. I'd say he isn't as slow as people say he is

I wish everyone would give this part of the thread a rest. I don't care if a hockey player, whose first language is not english, tends to say 'you know' too much. For that matter, I've heard more than my share of CHL player interviews, and many of those guys say 'you know' or 'uhhh' too much as well. Who cares. They're not being paid to give an interview, and they're not addressing the nation or business leaders. They are athletes, plain and simple folks.
