Bulldogs Revamped

http://habsinsideout.com/main/8907

Don't know if this has been mentioned yet or not but does anyone know what happens to all the players that are "gone" from the squad? Do we still have right? Are they working part-time at Mcd's now?

Gone:goalie Yann Danis; defencemen Jean-Philippe Côté, Mathieu Biron, Jon Gleed, Marvin Degon and Andrew Archer; forwards Corey Locke, Duncan Miloy, Cory Urquhart, Jonathan Ferland, Jimmy Bonneau, Janne Lahti and Eric Manlow.

Wow it seams like an era has passed.

They listed Englehardt in the wrong list. He won't be back.

August 5th, 2008. He signed with Augsburger Panther of the DEL.

Bulldogs are making a lot of room for the legit prospects to get big icetime. May not produce wins, but certainly will test the kids.

I think we have an agreement with Dallas. They give us 2-3 players for Hamilton.

There better be an AHL roster update for NHL 09 then...
Does anyone remember if 08 had AHL roster updates?

Does that list include Andrei Kostitsyn, Guillaume Latendresse, Greg Stewart, Maxim Lapierre, Kyle Chipchura, Sergei Kostitsyn, Matt D'Agostini, Ryan O'Byrne, Carey Price and Jaroslav Halak?

Bless your heart.

Some of those HabsI/O comments made me . How anyone thinks Stewart or Weber can make the team out of training camp is beyond me.

He was a BEAST in the Calder Cup playoffs two years ago. I really was hoping he'd get a shot at the NHL level though.. he really isn't a bad player.

He managed to play 4 NHL games last year though. So if he can get to 10 this year, he'd probably be a happy camper.

For MVP, my selections were;

1. Price
2. Locke
3. Jancevski

Hamilton looks great this year:

Goalie: Denis/Desjardins

Defense: Valentenko/Carle/Belle/Weber/Anderson/Henry/TBD

Forwards: Maxwell/Pacioretty/D'Agostini, White/Trotter/Lehoux, Desharnais/Beauregard/O. Latendresse, Glumac/Flynn/Stewart, Russel/JT Wyman/Aubin

This is a DEEP AHL team. They just need to get use to playing together.

Has anyone noticed that the Bulldogs will not have one European forward in their lineup this coming season? They won't even be close, as there are no Euro forwards in Montreal that's likely to be sent down, and no one else under contract... lots of American players that the Habs have drafted lately.

Only two Euros total, Valentenko and Weber, both have one N-A season under their belt!

And with only Trunev and Torp as European prospects (Emelin/Korneev will probably stay in Russia), those saying the Habs are a soft team filled with European will have to change their mind very soon, as most of the kids the Habs will put into their lineup in the coming years will be good old N-A kids.

We're now the Montreal Americans! Think of the great U.S. born players that played for us ...Bill Nyrop, Mats Schneider, Francis Bouillon, Ed Ronan, Scott Sandelein, Tom Chorske,......Chris Chelios. 2008...MaxPac, Ryan McDonagh, Danny Kristo, JT Wyman, Scott Kishel, Andrew Conboy, Joe Stejkal.
