I'm not sure if either Cole or Penner can play RW, but if one of them can these are the lines I think could be most effective;

Cole/Penner - Horcoff - Hemsky
Nilsson - Gagner - Cole/Penner
Moreau - Cogliano - Pisani

The 4th line would be made up by the young'uns. Brodziak, Pouliot, Storts, Schremp.

This is what I was picturing as well.

MacT has been consistantly clear that he intends to take another good hard look at keeping the kids together but I just can't see the three of them starting the season the same way they finished last year. I would expect the over under on the kid line getting broken up is 3 games.

My line-up if Penner drops to the 3rd line...

Cole-Horcoff-Hemksy
Nilsson-Gagner-Cogliano
Penner-Pouliot-Schremp
Moreau-Brodziak-Pisani

Switch the 3rd and 4th lines when we're on the road. Penner supposedly was a good match with Lupul in Anaheim (Penner feeding Lupul for shots). Penner and Pouliot do teh board work, and Schremp creates the offense (Penner shoudl free up some ice for Rob as well).
I love this lineup but one small change. Brule in for Pouliot. Hes got more experience. He is faster and hits harder. Perfect scenrio this year for Brule. Change of scenery and a little excitement for him is going to do him well.

It could happen, IMO a team that has Brule and Schremp force their way onto the team is in a very good position. Pouliot and Stortini rounds out the PB then. This really should be Pouliot's time to shine as IMO he's been on the same path as Brodziak was the year prior to making the club full time.

Well, my first time trying the line-up thing and this has probably been done before, but why not keep Penner and Cole on the top two lines and have Nilsson and Schremp to see if they can reconnect like they did in Springfield? Assuming that I didn't forget a key part of the forward core which I probably did:

Penner-Horcoff-Hemsky (scoring and top-line matchup)
Cole-Ganger-Cogliano (speed and scoring)
Nilsson-Schremp-Pisani (Defensive awareness from Pisani plus scoring ability; Schremp/Nilsson chemistry)
Moreau-Brodziak-Stortini (energy/agitation)
Pouliot

13f with Potunly/Brule call-ups

i bet macT uses all of the lineup combinations that were previously posted plus a half dozen or so more.

i kinda like the penner moreau pisani line

a 4 line of burle/stortini schremp/brodziak pouliot

its a very solid vet line that can play tough mins leaving the kid lines the soft mins
