I was 20th in line and could see the line going around the corner, but I don't think it was very long. Well, I guess I can't really say. I didn't do my homework and thought I was going to buy 2 $16 tickets to 5 games and pay $320. Unfortunately, only one was the base price (didn't even know about the 3 tier "ripoff" special) and paid $520 for the 5 games. That's over 60% more for the tickets this year.

What I'm surprised about is that people aren't *****ing more about this

The "family section" thing seems like a decent deal.

Ticket Vouchers

I bought 10 game season tickets to the P-Bruins, which came with 1 free Boston ticket voucher per seat. I just got them in the mail today and while the seats aren't too bad (45.50 or 37.50 price seats), I have no idea which game I should go to. Here's the list.

Thurs Oct 23 vs Toronto 7pm
Sat Oct 25 vs Atlanta 7pm
Thurs Nov 6 vs Toronto 7pm
Wed Nov 19 vs Buffalo 7pm
Fri Nov 21 vs Florida 7pm

There's a Mon Dec 8 vs Tampa @ 7pm too, but I already have tickets.

Any suggestions?

It's too bad we couldn't confine all ticket-related questions to one thread.

Season tickets are being mailed out next week. I would assume your 12 pack will be mailed with those.

I think the 12 game pack is included when they send out the season tickets. They're sending them out Sept. 22

I'm in Loge 15 I believe...

Ive got tix to the home opener, the first canadiens game, the thanksgiving day game, and i think one more... cant remember who its against.. and I definitely plan on going to quite a few more. Not sure if my stuff has arrived yet to answer the thread starters question.. everything is getting mailed to my rents house... not to my apartment.

I know a guy who gets season tickets or something, and he always sells a bunch of games he doesn't care about or isn't planning on making.

I picked up 12/8 against TB. I think it's 306, row 2.

Talked to a sales guy at the 10 a.m. skate on Saturday, he said they were still in the offices packaging all the seasons tickets during this weekend to be mailed off on Monday.

Ok, all things being equal, I wouldn't take the first two because it's too early and the Bruins are still likely to be getting their footing, especially after a hectic start on the road...Toronto (#12) and Atlanta (#14) also finished behind both Florida (#11) and Buffalo (#10) last season...

That said, Thursday Nov. 6 against Toronto is intriguing because the Bruins are coming off a their first five-day rest after the hectic start, so they'll be fresh and you won't be seeing a gassed team....

But for me it would be down to Sabres or Panthers, and Buffalo wins that one, because they would have already played twice before that game, and they tend to be chipper grudge matches with Buffalo...Nov. 21 is the first meeting of the season with the Panthers...

cheers,

Talked to a rep today about those packages and I wouldn't feel too bad, basically the seats are what they call in my business the "remnant inventory" that was left in those two sections after all the "all you can eat" seasons ticket packages were sold. They basically set aside two sections for the all you can eat and they haven't filled them, but the best seats in the sections are gone.
They "just want to get people in the building," he said. Makes sense. Get them in and the electricity is addictive.

Have yet to receive my 12 game pack or my opening night tickets...hope I get them soon. I have emailed my ticket rep twice about it, no response. These reps arent very helpful, does anyone know the name/email of a GOOD rep? Mine was one by name of Drew, but he quit, and they gave me another by the name of Evie. This Evie lady seems clueless...

i have 2 reps that i talk to. both of mine are very good, and have never really let me down. Try shooting an email to Courtney McNeice or to Charlie Karoly. Although Charlie is now a group sales rep, so i would try Courtney first. They are mailing out tickets today (9/22), so you should get them within a few days.

Thanks...I will give them a shot

Its really frustrating that you spend over 1,200 dollars on tickets and a rep cant even respond to your email. I didnt even know about the opening night pre-sale until I read about it on this board. When I asked my rep about it, she told me she called and left a message...but there was 0 voicemails on my phone. Not so sure ill order a 12 game pack again.
