I liked those and I liked the NEW YORK's as well.
But I don't see the need for third shirts. Just for one season play with a different shirt. I can't see the tragedy in trying some old shirts to keep things fresh.

Liberty jerseys are OK except the navy blue. Royal is our color and that shouldn't be messed with. I would like to see a red version of our current jerseys.

I don't mind the liberty jersey or the 70s one. In fact, I think both those designs would look much sharper on a slim rbk jersey. There's no need to fear that the traditional design is going anywhere ever.

I just don't why the Rangers don't have one this year...it's not like they didn't used to have one...and it's extra revenue.

Again, I fail to see why you are concerned with extra revenue for this team.

Third jerseys are just cheap attempts to go back into their fan's pockets.'

Tell me that if they sell enough third jerseys my cable bill will go down and maybe I'll listen.

I still cant believe the NHL let RBK dictate that Dark jerseys should be worn at home.

Pathetic. And if you dont think RBK didnt dictate, you're wrong.

I dont see why RBK would dictate that since im pretty sure when they first made the switch the jerseys were still being made by CCM/Koho, who were later bought by Rbk and it just stayed that colors were worn at home. Personally, id much rather see white at home, although i dont care as much anymore because my teams RBK edge jerseys are ****ing awful in both colors.

Rangers should never have red as their primary color. They're known as the Blueshirts, not the Redshirts

you dont have to wear Dark every home game, the rangers just choose to. The Anaheim Ducks wear white a few times at Home.

Broadway BLUE shirts.

Not Broadway white shirts.

Before there were such things as two jerseys, the Rangers wore blue and only blue.

The white jersey at home is blank, boring, and means nothing.

The reason for the NHL switching to dark at home is well documented and has nothing to do with RBK.

And besides, as others have said; that's the way it should be.

Although I'd prefer a soccer method where both teams wear dark unless there is a conflict.

I agree. Forget the concept of home and away jerseys.
We should have primary jerseys and secondary jerseys, and on occassion for some teams 3rd jerseys.

If the Bruins (black) are hosting the Rangers, then why shouldn't the Rangers have the option of wearing blue?
