lets keep Halak, he have great skills and i trust more a Halak/Denis Tandem than a Denis/Desjardin
Meanwhile, we still have Price/Halak

Bryzgalov got placed on Waivers last year. If a goalie of his stature wasn't interesting anybody last year, and if Huet only fetched us a 2nd rounder..I doubt a Goalie without even a year's experience would bring us something good.

Halak and Price are both here to stay. There are some fools (110%/Jean-Charles) that think Halak will be traded because Denis is not set to spend the whole season in AHL.
Instead of realizing we could have one of the best tandem in the league, something a few teams used to have (Sharks/Anaheim/Minny/Buf), they feel for the local Quebecor boy down in Hamilton.
These guys are such morons its unbelievable they're regulars on TV/Radio.

If we do trade Halak as part of a package, then we'll get a solid veteran goalie back. Even at that, I'm pretty sure Gainey wants to see Halak/Price battle it out for at least 1-2seasons.

Tom Gilbert
Denis Grebeshkov
Ladislav Smid
Jeff Petry
Taylor Chorney
Theo Pekcham
Alex Plante

Says Hello...

Petry would be our Number one prospect in front of McDonagh at this point.

Its not a given that Price will be better then Halak. Let them both fight it out for a couple years Nabokov/Toskala style, then make a more educated decision on which one to trade. Either way, I think they a both gems!

I guess we have a different version to what ''Prospects'' are.
Are the Kost broz still prospects?? Latendresse???..Not to me they're not. They've proven they have their spot in the NHL, they are young up and comers.
When I talk about prospects, I talk about players that are still in minors/juniors..etc..Not guys that have a roster spot guaranteed in NHL.

Smid has two seasons in him. Grebeshkov has one. Gilbert a little over one. The latter one has a 4M cap hit next season, he must be the highest paid prospect in the NHL.

Those players are not prospects, they already graduated onto the big team.

What I meant by prospects was

McDonagh
Valentenko
Carle
Emelin
Subban
Fischer
Weber

I don't even include O'Byrne even though he's only played 33Games, because I know he has a spot on our team.

So yeah, they all say Hello back and Welcome!

Why not stick to the subject instead of inserting your non sequitur?

She meant that Edmonton has comparable depth in terms of defenseman. The only prospect she mentioned was Petry, who is ahead of McDonagh in his development.

It was for arguing with Kriss E.

Now what's you're problem ? You're post didn't add something new to the conversation so, YOU should be the one sticking to the Subject my dear !!
