OT-Lundqvist 08-09 pads

Heres a pic of Hanks pads for this year. They are going to look amazing with the white jerseys. He must be on the white stops more pucks bandwagon like everyone else.

Why does this thread title say OT?

Anyway, those pads look pretty cool.

I like the first ones better. The second ones look a little too much like Dipietro's new pads

I still prefer his previous pads, but the extra white won't hurt I guess.

i thought DP's were all white, and have the orange lines on the side?

You can't just say "DiPietro's pads" He usually goes through 3 pairs a year.

He used them for away games at the beginning of the year last year. He had home and away pads. Then around January he switched to all white.

I feel like this thread is a potential field day for Devs fans to come in an complain about the size of Lundy's pads.

I put OT as the title because i figured someone would complain about how this isn't important and this has nothing to do with the team.

By the way thats Valliquette in that video not Lundqvist.

Thats not Henrik. Henrik is endorsed by TPS and does not nor would he wear Itech pads.

Its either Wikman, or one of the other 23 goalies the Rangers have in camp. Haha.

Plus, Henrik never plays at that side of the MSG Training Center ice. He's at the other end, the "Home" end.

The thoery is that if a goaling is wearing all white pads, the shooter will think he has more net to shoot at than there actually is.

As a goalie, I plan to put this to the ultimate test somday, and get a white helmet, sweater, glove, blocker, and light blue pads & skates. I'd look obnoxious, but it'd be a fun experiment.

I like these pads... and like above posters have stated, these would look sweet with the white jerseys.

The retro style ROCKED. Andy Moog did it with Dallas years ago with Vaughns I believe. If I still played in net I would so be huntin a set of retros style new equipment.

I really like the pads in the first post, but they could be flaming pink for all I care as long as he keeps his GAA down with them.

As wide as Marty has gotten lately, that's not an argument I think they'd want to engage in.
