wow that is a great vid.....u can see in his strides, he is not forcing himself like last year and looks extremly faster. I thought he was gonna be a liability on the 3rd line but im all for him proving me wrong.
I don't know, I get the feeling Lats will be one of the guys that "pleasantly surprises" people this season. The past few seasons, he was still a young kid soaking up the experience but still produced ok. He's bound to break-out, especially if he was as dedicated as reported during the off season. The team's depth should help take some pressure off him as well (or light a fire under his ass so he doesn't lose his spot).
I like when he's skating full tride. Looks much faster then last season. But early in the vid when they just skate away I still think I his knees are bent inwards to much. Like he said it's going to take a while to change the stride but looking quite good so far.

I just saw the Livingston interniew, he clearly said that this year Latendresse is top 5 in speed where as last year he would of been ranked bottom 5 in speed, will Passcheandale and Puckhead58 shut there yaps about Latendresse?

We still need to see him in game with a puck. But no one can question this guy's attitude and comitment.
Nice video. He looks quicker and that's a good thing. With Latendresse, his top speed was decent. It was getting up to speed that was the problem. It seems he's worked hard on his foot speed.

You're laughing but one night, last year, i was compelty drunk and i was arguing with a friend that one day Lats would become the CH capt'n. My friend laughed, and i dont know how it has happen but now i have this image of Lats being the future captain of the habs in my subconscious.
Latendresse looks great. Really focused, intense and I'd swear he even looked fast. This is his year to breakout. He's going to play with at least one and hopefully two genuinely talented offensive linemates.

Passchendaele will never shut up about the Habs. We could win the Cup for ten years straight and he'd still find ways to tell us why our players suck and how overrated we are. Dude's obsessed.
