I guess the timing is right to start posting on these boards, of which I have been an avid reader for more than a year.
Amazingly the Habs look even better than last year, and I'm pumped about pretty much everything coming into this season: the young guys, the veterans, the new guys, the year of the centennial, the fact that I'm going to a game as soon as next week (last time I went was on a magic February night against the Rangers...
) and the fact that for the first time of my life I am going to follow a team that has a legitimate chance of winning it all.
Looks like we're all on the same page this time, this is going to be fun!

It has been a long time. Too long for me because this years edition of the Habs is going to be one of the best that I have seen in my 18 years as a fan. Indeed, three solid scoring lines coupled with a fourth line that will put the opposition through a meat grinder. Add to that a very capable top-3 on d and two solid young goalies and you have the making of something special. Can't wait for the puck to drop

You know... i lve like 15 min by car from MTL and i saw only ONE game live and that was back in '72... I really should go more often to see local games.
