Not trolling here but here is the Bruins roster IF it's team A vs. team A:
Team A: Andrew Alberts, P.J. Axelsson, Patrice Bergeron, Byron Bitz,
Andrew Bodnarchuk, Zdeno Chara, Andrew Ference, Manny Fernandez, Shane Hnidy, Phil Kessel, Chuck Kobasew, David Krejci, Brad Marchand, Adam McQuaid, Kevin Nastiuk, Jeff Penner, Kevin Regan, Jeremy Reich, Maxime Sauve, Vladimir Sobotka, Ryan Stokes, Marco Sturm, Nate Thompson, Shawn Thornton.
Yeah, as callow as it sounds, I kind of hope he doesn't last. And as shocking as the rumour sounds, for Brad, it doesn't shock me in the least. The first summer Andy came back from prep school, him and Brad were inseparateable and were the botheration of many, many people. But anyways, it'll be nice too see Bergeron, Manny and Sturm.
It made no sense to me why they benched him in the play-offs after spending what they did to acquire him and that he was producing reasonably well in the first couple rounds. When I was told of this story, it all made sense.

Yeah, well I was shocked that the Mooseheads lost they way they did. Surely Cam Russell made the right decision though, you can't have someone, who you depend on for leadership among other things, do what Marchand allegedly did. How widespread is this rumour? I wonder what kind of reception he'll get tomorrow night?

i don't think it's that widespread. Plus the reputation of the Maritimes who'll support anyone from here, even if they blow, especially in Idol competitions like Mitch MacDonald, Gary Beals and Chad Doucette. I'm sure he'll get a warm reception. Especially since we'll be seeing hockey fans of MTL and Boston, not necessarily Mooseheads fans.

That's true, as well. I haven't been to a Moosehead game in years.

I know he is a 'hated' Bruin, but he is also a French Canadian who is a hell of a player and I hope everyone who is lucky enough to see his first game back gives him a standing ovation....
...also looks like that if it is team A vs. team A Ryder isn't playing, but you never know...also don't expect Chara in the lineup because of his slow recovery from surgery. He will be ready for the start of the season but they want to take it easy. Finally, you will also see the return of Manny Fernandez....
This game is in halifax... its not even in quebec. I think they might cheer for ex halifax moosehead Alex Tanguay. It will be a pro habs crowd, but there isn't a significant french factor going on here.
And dont expect anything resembling an A team on either side. That's unheard of especially in the first few exhibition games.
From what I've been told, after they lost the second game against the Gatineau Olympiques the players were gathered in the dressing room and Brad Marchand said something along the likes of, "I don't need this, I've got my two gold medals, I'm happy, I don't give a **** about this team or winning this series."
Everyone I've heard who's went to school with him thought he was a dick. Looks like an ass to me, too. I don't think he'll stick in the NHL either.
What a great 'team' player. I would enjoy having someone like that on my team or professional organization. Players like that need to get steam rolled or have a short career in the majors.
