Waited yesterday to buy tickets on Ticketmaster for the Habs/Wild game in Minni on Oct. 30th... right when i got on at 12 when they went on sale there were no tickets even available in the lower levels.

Was lucky to find 4 lower level tickets together on ebay for about $650 Canadian with shipping and everything so i'll be 18 rows behind the Hab's bench there.

I want to know how much time it takes when you get on that waiting list for season tickets. Is it like 15 years or more like 5. I'm seriously thinking to suscribe to it after university.

i know for sure that over 3000 names on the waiting list :

« C’est renversant à quel point la demande est exceptionnelle, constate Donald Beauchamp, vice- président aux communications chez le Canadien.

Avec une liste d’attente comportant plus de 3 000 noms, c’est bien évident qu’on pourrait tout vendre en billets de saison seulement. Mais on tient à donner une chance égale à tous de pouvoir assister à au moins un match, un soir donné.

C’est pour ça qu’on rend 4 000 billets disponibles pour tous les matchs, sans exception. »

Hey guys,

I was hoping I could get some input on this:

I got in on the ticket purchasing last week and got tickets to the game against the Caps on January 10th. I tried choosing several different sections but they were all sold out so I just clicked "Best Available" and it gave me tickets in section 430. I checked it out on seatdata.com and said "damn, that's high" and figured what the heck and just bought the tickets because I wasn't finding anything else.

Later, I came on here and posted how I got these seats/tickets and some of you asked if I have kids because that's the Saputo Family Zone. I had no clue about this and the system never mentioned anything about it being a Saputo Family Zone and needing to bring kids with you. I found the following link: http://canadiens.nhl.com/team/app/?s...LPage&id=16972 where it says:

Quote:
Prices:

Adult: $25.00 for regular games or $32.00 for Optimum games*
Child (16 years and under): $8.86*
So my question is, if I got 4 tickets, do I have to take 2 kids with me? And if so, why did I get billed $28.22 for each ticket when the page on the Habs site says the kids tickets should only be $8.86?

Thanks!

You don't need 4 kids, but if you had asked for 2 adult seats and 2 kids seats, then yes, you would have needed 2 kids.

Sweet, picked up a single ticket for the game against the Flames. Four of my friends are going to that game so it will be fun to hang out with them beforehand even if I won't sit with them... and I won't miss them too much in my Prestige seat four rows off the ice in section 122...

Never seen a game from that close, looking forward to it.

so are people who have already bought tickets allowed to buy more?

it still says ''Purchase limit: maximum of one transaction for a maximum of 4 tickets. In other words, a buyer may not purchase tickets to two different games''

on the Canadiens website.

So for those people who bought their tickets on the Wednesday they re-went on sale... did everyone else get their tickets yet? I still haven't.

Yeah, I asked my friend as soon as I posted it, and she didn't get hers, either.

I also got the email.
