I wish DL would sack up like Bryan Murray and just trade his ass already. Let some desperate team overpay too.
How do you know O'Sullivan wants to be overpayed, you know other than the one leak to Rich Hammond where his starting negotiation was at? If it is just in your opinion that he wants to be overpayed, why worry about him sitting. It has only been a few days.
In the end DL might trade O'Sullivan, but i don't know where your desperation is coming from on this one.
If DL can swing a deal for a defensman without giving up an asset like O'Sullivan why not do that? Focussing on our defense includes the forwards, and O'Sullivan is becoming a good two way player. Thats a pretty nice thing to have you know beside the scoring thing IMO.

I'm not worried, just frustrated like 99% of Kings fans.

For one thing you don't land a good defenseman without giving something up. Lombardi possibly making a deal to land Schneider is not going to have a longterm effect on the Kings and isn't really what I was alluding to.
O'Sullivan is a good two way player, but it's not doing anybody any good when he's not in camp with the rest of the team learning a new defensive system. It's also nice to know that Purcell could possibly make O'Sullivan expendable.

Purcell is a right wing so i am not sure he is vying for O'Sullivan's spot, but yes i get your point. Someone could step up, of course the season hasn't officially started.
I think any viable long term solution in respect to defense is not there yet, but i could be wrong.
Either way O'Sullivan seems like a pretty bright guy, i am sure he will catch on to the system even though your right he will behind the eight ball. It won't be any different for the guy he gets traded for if such is the case.
Tick tock, I love these kind of predictions. Very similar to all the Kingsters who claimed inside information on how he woudl be signed months ago, amazing how the stance has totally changed as the season rapidly approaches.

Amazing how your negative stance hasn't. <flame snipped> Thank god there's this ignore function.
