With three well balanced offensive lines, I think there is a good chance the Habs repeat. Our 5-5 should be much improved, hopefully the PP can keep pace (I fear it will not be what it has been the past two years).

Top 5 would be great. Today in the NHL, it's really hard to know what's going to happen with a lot of team, as their is too many if. We sure have the potential to be the best offensive team that's for sure tho!

I'd say. Speed produces more offense, then anything (in my opinion) and the Habs are much faster then the Wings, up front. And as good as Hossa was in the playoffs last year, he was still mediocre in the regular season, so, I'm optimistic. Especially if A-Tang is as fast as some training camp reports suggest.

His "mediocrity" probably has a lot to do with the terrible team he was on before he went to Pittsburgh.
Has much less to do with the team then it does the line. Who'd he skate by in Hotlanta? Kovalchuck? Best offense player in the world.
I think Mediocre is a badly chosen term. The guy still put up star numbers (maybe not superstar, but he did later with the pens). Don't forget he was injured last year

Well there you go, then, he's injury prone and thus the Wings' offense is not on par with that of the Habs.
Lol, but I still think speed kills and, I know its very early, but Lang has already exceeded expectations; perhaps he'll be a pleasant surprise this year? He had a 0.7 points-per-game average last year, and just before the lockout he had a 1.17 points-per-game average with the Caps. Maybe he'll be a point-a-game player this year?
