The defense is playing better because everyone is playing for spots. Modry, Blake, etc. had spots guaranteed. There's a decent chance that Doughty and possibly even one more rookie might make the lineup.
These kids are going to work hard to impress.

If there is already a fight going on, and two more players square off during that first fight, they get game misconducts.
