You know what's ironic...if the Habs were to play Kovalev or Markov tonight and they were to be injured, the same peopel complaining about them not dressing tonight, would be complaining about them dressing for such a meaningless game

No... if they played all 6 games, yes... I would blame the other team for injuring our players in such a meaningless game.

I still can't beleive that the season is about to start and that the Habs are on TV tonight. Granted it's only the pre-season but it still very interesting if only to watch a lot of prospects play.

Toooooooonight

I'm just concerned because my Bell listing is saying they're showing golf?

I'm pumped to watch Maxwell and MaxPac in action! Should be a good game, even if most of the regulars won't be in the lineup. Hopefully Denis plays better than last night.

Sports 30 has said 1000000 times, the game is on tonight.
and if not...go take a look at the NHL NETWORK channel, look what they are showing at 7PM

Same here on Videotron

I really hope that they won't show that crap instead or i'm going to be disappointed. The Habs , even in a pre season game = better ratings so they have no reason to show Le Baton Rouge over the game.

I just got home from school, I'm out on the shore and my mom is freaking out saying it's not on. Just double checking everything, boys.

Are we still talking about if RDS is showing the game?

http://www.rds.ca/
http://www.rds.ca/surnosondes/

"Vous pourrez voir cette rencontre sur les ondes de RDS ainsi que dans la zone de match du RDS.ca dès 19h."

Translation: You will be seeing this game on RDS as well as in the "Zone du match" at RDS. ca at 7PM.

By the way....CBCSPORTS.ca is having the game as well. Strange that they are inventing the contest but are not showing the game on TV.....

I'd love it if they win but getting a rare opportunity to watch our rookies is just about as amazing.

I just love seeing Maxwell-Pacioretty.

Maxwell was HIGHLY impressive last night. Poise of a veteran, no panic point at all.

I know we shouldn't play that game and I'm not saying he'd become like them.....but who does he look like more from your point of view....Brad Richards or Joe Sakic (like Dubé compared him to)?

Brad Richards. I don't get the Joe Sakic comparison. Sakic has a better release, has more leadership and all-around intagibles than Maxwell. Maxwell didn't seem to carry the line in a mental capacity, but he is a rookie. He was just poised with a veteran calm, made good decisions, turned away from checks, didn't let his size hamper him (he looked small) and he's got more playmaking skills than shooting skills. I'd say Brad Richards is a better comparison right now.

Thanks Jaydee...it will be classic later on in the year wearing that jersey and having people look at it and say. What the hell is a Glumac?

Those 2 with D'Agostini will make a killer line in Hamilton this year

If we don't win this game, we should just forget about this year and makes some trades. I vote to make trades to get tough guy David Ling and prospect Colin Long so we would be able to have the Ling-Lang-Long line.....
