They probably know that their rating will be down if they only show or mainly show Leafs game. They will probably go back to more Leafs game as they get better in the next couple of years, if they get better that is.
CBC should be showing hockey 7 nights a week, it is the best Canadian programming there is and don't they have to meet a quota.
TSN wouldn't be happy....

I prefer TSN broadcasts over CBC ones now.... didn't used to but CBC started losing ground with the loss of Cuthbert and TSN just keeps getting better.
Even Pierre McGuire has gotten better than he used to be.

Last night I was watching classic series (Habs vs Sabres 93) and it was Cuthbert with Dick Irvin Jr....what an awesome team that was.
I'll be impressed with CBC when they stop showing Leafs games and replace them with nothing but Habs games. No Sens. Just like we had to endure the Leafs. CBC used the excuse that the Leafs were a better team for a few years and the Habs were not so good. Well the Leafs are the lowest of the lows now and the Habs are the toast of the league along with a few other teams, plus all the celebrations this year. Leafs should do not exists on tv unless it's on their own channel.
Just asking.....why doesn't the CBC show that game on TV tonight? So you organize a contest but don't show the finale? Did they show the games when it was won before?
