I think any team that wins the Cup deserves it. Period no team deserves it more or less than any other.

As far as least expected in recent memory you would have to say Carolina.

Maybe. But teams like the Blues, Kings, Canucks and Caps have been in the league for much longer than the Sharks.

The Hawks have a longer drought, they last won it in the 1960-61 season, The Leafs' last win happened in 1966-67.
