I predict wings win 6-1.

Seriously. I'm ready to bet on the outcome of this game.

But if Carey Stands on his head, then maybe the team will be re-energized.

I'd love to see Detroit fall apart tonight. Only Zetterberg out it looks, if we get some serious chemistry from Lats and Lang, and our defence really backs up Carey, I'm going to be happy. I have a feeling it'll be a very, very tough game, but most Montreal/Detroit games are tough to watch. I'm just happy to be seeing the Habs for the first time (I've seen players play in Junior or College but never the Habs).

I'll be wearing my only Montreal Canadiens jersey to the game, which fit me when I was 12 years old haha. It's got my name on the back and is number 26 (Rucinsky wore 26 and was Damphousse's left winger, so since I always wanted be on Vinnie's left wing, I wear 26) so if anyone is going and will see me, be sure to say hi.

I'm hoping for the best. Anyone calling us out of this already needs their head checked. A good effort is what I want. If we keep this close, even if it has a lot to do with the Wings defensive style, I'm going to be very happy. This is a serious litmus test, even if its a pre-season game. Can we show heart without Koivu? Can we score on the PP without Kovalev? I'm pumped.
And Franzen. And Hudler. And Filppula. And Cleary. And Samuelsson. And Kronwall. And Stuart. And Osgood.

Babcock split the 40 or so guys left into two roughly equal teams and they're alternating the first 6 exhibition games.

Can you post me the line up of the Wings for tonight? I heard that Hossa will play with Datsyuk and Holmstrom but I don't think they play tonight.

The lineup listed in this thread is the one that should suit up tonight.

to me, the pre season is about watching the non roster players and see where they are at in their development.

Too bad there is no coverage but if I could watch it, I'd be paying special attention to guys like Carle, Subban, and D'Agostini. It really makes exhibition games alot more intriguing when you can ice so many legit prospects rather than watching those slots filled up by career ahl jounreyman. It probably means that the team's record will suffer a bit, but who cares, its the pre season.

I would also pay attention to Price's movement with all the weight he lost... also latendresse for similar reasons.

Finally, I dont really care about the vets at this time of the year, but I'm interested to see lang not because of his play, but I just want to see him in the jersey.

Are they actually playing the game on this website: Cjad.com? All I see is that 7-10 is Laxer Live.

If anyone has a radio station in english that would be great.
