My PayPal receipt for the $8.99 I paid says "Subscription Receipt". It sets up a monthly renewing subscription with PayPal to take $8.99 off you every month.

You can log in to PayPal and choose "Cancel Subscription". It doesn't cancel the month you just paid for, just prevents renewals.

Obviously if you want to renew then you're set.

Why don't we share the login for that hockeystream site so we can all benefit?

It sucks seeing Gator on their team. I wish he could have stuck around for one more year.

I like all of our defenceman that we have right now over Gator. I appreciate what he did for us last year and was a great player, but he got burned so many times and hopefully with more speed on D this year it won't happen as much.

DETROIT (AP) -Montreal defenseman Mathieu Carle was carried off the ice on a stretcher after being hit by Detroit's Tomas Kopecky during an exhibition game Wednesday night.

Oh my gosh... I haven't seen it, but I would guess they'll show it on Sportscentre at 11:00. Hopefully Carle is okay.

Phaneuf just sent Carcillo airborne in the Flames/Coyotes game.

Asham and Neil just fought. I'd say it was a draw. Few good punches landed by both.

I did too, but apparently sometimes the other bloggers get their facts wrong too.

Rumors were swirling all summer about this, one involving Cam barker and Neil seemed to really have legs, but nothing ever came from it. They were certainly talking though.

In the preseason, a player can be sent down and still dress for a game with the NHL club. Happens all the time.

I didn't see the whole game, but Giroux was getting pushed around a fair bit out there again tonight. He and Briere looked good on the PP (I'd like to see the two of them get used to one another out on the ice - it could be terrific to watch)
