That seems fine minus 2 things:

Latendresse could be playing on the 2nd and Higgins on the 3rd
And Bouillon WILL be there instead of Brisebois

why do you both have Begin and Kostopoulos on the opposite wings from where they normally play?

I don't see how Carbo's gonna go with something different...maybe switch Lats and Higgins and definately Bouillon instead of Brisebois.

Personally i'd go with

Latendresse-Lang-S.Kostitsyn
Kostopoulos-Lapierre-Laraque
Bégin
Dandenault

Markov-Komisarek

first of all begin il LW and laraque rw
bouillon on the bench??
Bouillon replace breezer
even if breezer would play instead of bouillon
put him RD at least

you know some player shoots right and some shoot left...
I put and L and R next to all players so you can learn that.

Lang and Latendresse should not be playing together. Both guys needs more explosive linemates so that their deficiencies are not exposed too much.

I kind of like the idea of one big, strong but slower, yet highly skilled line, followed by what would be arguably the most explosive line in hockey. I think it could have a changeup effect on opposing players...

That said, I wouldn't mid at all if Tanguay and Lats were switched.

The only reason why I put him there was to have move offense comming from our D. I would trade one of our 4 liners and bouillon to get a D with more offence (and no I don't wnt to use Brisebois). If Subban or antoher D that can produce offence is not there, then I would use forwards on the point on the power play for both waves. Probably Tanguay and Lang.

Not bad, but I would prefer....

S.Kostitsyn - Plekanec - A.Kostitsyn
Tanguay - Koivu - Latendresse
Higgins - Lang - Kovalev
Begin - Lapierre - Laraque/Kostpoulos

Markov - Komisarek
Hamrlik - O'Byrne/Brisebois
Gorges - Boullion

Price
Halak

I really wanna see Pleks centering the Kostitsyn brothers. I think they will have incredible chemistry and they would be a very very fast line.
Latendresse always done good with Koivu, so put him on a line with him and Tanguay and see what he can do.
Kovalev and Lang might have some magic left in them, put hard-working Higgins on their line and it could be dangerous as well.
4th line is self explanitory....they go out and muck it up.

Defence is pretty much the same as last year. I hope O'Byrne plays more than Brisebois, but thats about it.

Price and Halak are going to compete and provide great goaltending for the team.

Higgins Lang S Kost
Begin Lapierre Laraque

Markov Komisarek
Hamrlik O'Byrne
Gorges Bouillon

I like it like that, but I'd like to see S. Kost play with his brother. Whatever though, they should play together on the pp2.

I'd like to see it exactly like that too but I doubt our best line will be broken up on opening night.

Carbonneau said that if the opening game was tonight, all 8 players could play. They've all trained today, and Kovalev is going to play tomorrow against the Sens.
