good advice although w/ the price of beers that is like only 3 or 4. will do my best though.

You'll have better luck just BYOB and pregaming on the train or something (if you take it). Works out cheaper. 6 pack for $8 > 6 beers for $30

unfortunately I'm at work in the City so no cheap pregame. Also i'm meeting my date for dinner beforehand. eh whatever though, its hockey so its better than watching my mets lose.

Hutchinson is playing? I hope to god he doesn't have a good game, I can see the "WTF? Why didn't we keep Hutchinson?!" threads already.

I am looking forward to hearing all of the retractive statements tonight after Nedved puts a nail in his own coffin.

I have to be honest, I hope he does. It's fun to watch a guy playing his heart out and everything but it's only making things complicated that don't need to be. He won't be able to play an 82+ game season at this pace and I'd hate to see a deserving kid lose a spot to him. I've been really enjoying it and it's fun to root for him but I just don't see him holding it together for an entire year, although I really have always liked him. Oh well I guess.

Honestly, I see this lineup as a 'Do or Die' lineup. The players who perform well, will stay through. The rest of them, will get cuts.

It's honestly going to be a fun game to watch, whether we lose by a score of 8-0. This is our future were watching and how they compare to other teams in the NHL.

I actually like this lineup. This camp has presented Renney with some tough choices and this shows me he is committed to making them. Shows that Prucha is firmly on the bubble, as well as Fritsche and Sjostrom. Cally and Korpedo playing at center bodes well for them, especially Lauri, because it will tell Renney how available they are at multiple spots (Korp would be my top choice to center the third line [obviosuly with Dubinsky on the 2nd and Drury ont he wing] and I'm glad to see Renney coming around to that thought as well). This gives Redden and Girardi one last shot to show if they can play well together and gives Fahey another shot to show last night was no fluke. Finally, it gives people like Rissmiller one last chance to change the staff's minds. And, most importantly, it will tie up the loose ends and we should finally see the real lineup on Saturday which we've all been waiting for...

Yeah, because scoring is all that matters in training camp for a guy who'll most likely play in a more defensive 3rd or 4th line role IF by some miracle he makes the team.

This was done to see how Nedved does without veterans around him, rather he will have mostly kids around him. This was done to see how he leads the team on the ice tonight.....does he fail?or does he succeed? Tonight decides Nedved's fate as a Ranger.

Or it was done because they have played 4 games in 4 nights and 5 games in 6 nights and they want to start the entire lineup Saturday without getting any real players tired.

Konopka
is a pure old school 1970's goon keep a eye on this guy. Koci is a lock vs Orr early and be careful Slats having Orr is great but this is why we need goon in the AHL level for games like last night and today dress a guy and let him answer the bell with orr. We have no one single guy going to police the wolfpack with all the talent we have down there we need a protector.

I don't like Callahan at center, Korp either. I would have rathered Top try Fristche at centering one of those lines.

Oh and people who don't think Betts lineup spot is in question think again. I don't think he will get cut but I can see him being moved to healthy scratch. Rissmiller is just not needed, IMO waste of a contract against our 50 limit.

Nope, they could have still put in a Girardi, redden, Zherdev without a Rozsival, gomez naslund Drury etc. This line-up is completely lacking substance.
