It's Giroux's best period of preseason so far. Playing with Richards helps.

End of the 1st period, we'll pick up the 2nd period with about a minute of PP time left. As for whose name I hear a lot, Sbisa, Richards, and Berard. They've said numerous times Luca is jumping up into the offensive play, and it seems like he's really trying to make a name for himself. Obviously we'll hear Richards's name a lot, he's our most important player and has our only goal. I've heard Berard's doing well with getting the puck up ice, skating it a bit and then dishing it off to one of the forwards, which is what I expected from him. Marty doesn't seem like he's faced a whole lot of work, but he's perfect so far. Claude has also had a couple of scoring chances and by far his best one of the preseason according to Tim Saunders.

I've heard his name a couple of times, but nothing special. Just him skating the puck or that sort of thing.

Saunders and Therien specifically named Berard as doing things John Stevens wants to see from defensemen.

Well, a shot Berard took directly led to a PP goal. If Berard shows he isn't a liability in his own end and can work successful power plays, there shouldn't be much to feel about him other than he should be on the team.

However, as Lasse Kukkonen found out last year, doing what you're asked to do doesn't mean much.

I hope Berard makes the team, he's always been one of my favorite players.

Saunders has been calling Nodl "Noodle". Did he do this the last two games?

If Berard makes the team, i would want it to be at Jones' expense. Nothing against Randy

Cote got in a fight with Brandon Sugden, and beat him because Sugden fell onto the back of the net, and then Clackson got in a fight with Sugden and got beat. 2-0 Flyers, Berard's shot on the PP deflected by someone, don't know who

you pronounce it like - pff, not too easy ... ok

the n, d and l shouldn't be the problem -

the ö you pronounce like ... erm, take 'pittsburgh' - you pronounce the ö in nödl like the 'u' in pittsburgh

hope that makes sense
