Hey, at least now I know where to get some good mittens during the winter and I won't have to make a thread on HF about where to find good mittens!

I have been looking for mokassin ( native indian sox - real hot. My relative suffers from many diseases, and he can barely walk in winter due to the cold) all last winter

yah of course I see it, come on it is too obvious, but I am just giving it a try for any of you guys who know a real store. It is not fun seeing a close 70 yr old man move only in between his bed and the sofa for 4 months of the year because it is too cold for him even in his own house. You know winter is not far when you think of it. Soon they will bring the winter clothes. Give it 1 month max

thanx a million. My uncle lives in the middle east and in the winter the temperature goes down to 0 degree celsius for a good 2-3 weeks at night and in between 0-10 for a good 2 months a year.

He has arthritis, diabetes, and heart problems( 20 yrs smoker) . I think I will send him the fireside slipper socks if they are as hot as they say.

thanx a million. If you believe in the existence of a big man up there, you just scored some points

OT: Where to find nice warm mittens at this time of year

So.. this thread isn't a joke at all..

It's getting cool outside, and my girlfriend is wanting mittens to wear to the riders game next friday..

Where can a person find nice warm winter mittens this time of year?

I'd like to get her some green ones.. any ideas?

Anyone who wants quality gloves must go to Tod’s. Unfortunately their closest retail location is on Madison Avenue in Manhattan. Fear not, the expense and hassle of a short flight (or a 14 hour return drive from Montréal) will surely fade as you slip on the subtle leather or suede gloves of your dreams and hand over around $400.00.

Stylishly yours,

habfan4

What are you driving good sir? a horse drawn carriage?

Any automobile built after 1952 will surely get you there and back in 12 ours or less.

If you've got a Simons in the area, they've got some gloves and mittens out.
