Downie just got in a fight with Hayley, they had been exchanging words at the beginning of the 2nd, sounded like a draw, maybe give the decision to Hayley. Seemed like Hayley had the size and reach advantage so Downie couldn't get any punches in. I can't figure out who this Hayley kid is. I'm pretty sure that's his last name, but I can't find him anywhere.

Biron played the first two periods, and Aubin is playing in the 3rd. Neither has let up a goal, and Biron is perfect through his first 4 periods in the preseason.

Wouldn't it be rad if Marty took the next step and played like Playoff Biron, but all season?

Michael Haley played in the OHL for Sarnia mostly. I'm sure he and Downie have had their share of run-ins.

The guy is Micheal Haley who started last year with Utah in ECHL and got a call up to Bridgeport midway through the season. He's only 5'10" but is a very scrappy player and as you can tell likes to mix it up. He's invitee to camp who has impressed the team so far, thus he is getting an exhibition game.

Flyers win 4-0. The Islanders were in this game for about 10 minutes.

Gotcha, seems to be a guy who's making a name for himself.

Isn't it something similar to this (click on LYSSNA), but without the "D" at the end?

Damn I didn't know it was tonight, I was busy watching the Mets choke the rest of their season away. How did we look? Giroux? Downie? Regulars?

I don't doubt that. From what I remember of Haley, he was a lot like Aliu - more focused on being a ****** than playing hockey.

Oh I thought they streamed it again. My bad.

Good to see Richards having a good preseason so far...I really hope he hits the ground running this season. If this Gagne-Richards-Briere line works, we will be a VERY good team.
