Had Rivet or Souray still been around, they would have let him know where his spot on the team was.

Had this happened in 50-60-70s, someone would have knocked him on his rear in front of all his teamates.

Lol, YOU may not like PJ all that much but im sure he has some pretty good contacts in the NHL. I wouldnt doubt that he speaks with them once in a while.

Anyone hear of this before?
It was Sergey’s interview back in Belarus. When reporters ask him how do you feel that your friend Grabovsky was traded? Serge quickly reply: “He is not my friend”, then added something like: “Not a big deal, this is part of the business”.

why do you talk if you didnt hear the segment of the show?

I heard the segment of the show.
TONY is the one who braught it up and said the Kosty Bros didnt see eye to eye with Grabo.

P.J just agreed to it, didnt say anything about it.

Am I saying P.J is good? NO, im not, but dont bash the guy when he didnt say anything wrong.

Every team in the whole league has players that don't particularly like each other. Not a big deal.

His role has been known: Playing Top 6 on a failing Leafs team instead of Top 9 on a dominant Canadiens lineup.

It's a pity Grabs didn't fit in you system. It would have been a dream come true to have half of national team Belarus on one NHL team. That's saying I think Grabs will realize his potential with Leafs. I wish him all the best.

P.S. and as for beef with bros... hmm I've never heard about it and it was never mentioned in belarussian press.

It was mentioned a lot prior to the trade deadline, that the Kostitsyn's were not happy with his attitude. That's all anyone really dug up.

Maybe because both of them have paid their dues and earned their roster spots where as Mikhail just figured he should be given one?

Again.....my suggestion from last year still stands....we should stick an ex-habs thread 'cause we'll still have people talking about Ribeiro and Theo and now add Grabovski, Ryder, Huet, Souray is back, Rivet with the Sabres.....One big thread for those guys please when the season starts.
I read their GDT to see how he did, many were critical of him until the goal.

Big Brother and Little Brother can clobber Grabovski when the Habs next play the Leafs.

How did Grabovski not earn his NHL ice time? He made some mistakes in his time with the Habs, but he did his part.

His first year, he went to the AHL. He worked on adapting to the league and trying to put into practice what his coaches were teaching him. For his efforts, he got put on a line with A.Kost and Milroy (later A.Kost and D'Ago). He was a bit inconsistent in his first year but he provided good attacking skills and was part of one of the better lines in the AHL that year. His playoff play wasn't quite as good but he played with an injury and helped his team win the Calder Cup. Pretty good first year IMO.

The next year, he makes the Habs out of camp. He shows a few glimpses of what he can do but ultimately is returned to the AHL. First game there, he gets injured, misses a number of weeks. First game after returning, he gets injured again because he came back too soon, he misses yet more time. When he eventually returns, he gives his team a spark with improved play all around and is, for a decent stretch of time, THE best player in the AHL. He gets called up to the Habs, has some ups, some down and gets traded in the off-season.

As mentioned, he made a couple of mistakes in his time with the Habs, but it isn't as though he sat around crying until he got what he wanted. He continually improved his game on the ice and he showed desire to make the NHL. He didn't always make his point the best way he could. But to say the brothers K earned their spots and Grabs figured he should have one? He earned what time he got fair and square. To suggest he did not do anything to deserve it would be wrong.

Okay, so I should be bashing Tony M. My ****ing bad.

Either way, the only people who know truly how things are between them are Kost bros + Grabovski...everything else is strictly heresay.

Who would they have heard this from? Definitely not from someone in the organization. Either way though, if it ain't coming from 1 of those 3, it's just as reliable as a game of broken telephone.

Is this the daughter you were beating last couple of days in order to have a HF thread locked? If so, I can understand her attitude.
