just wanted to let Flames fans know that the swedish SEL season has started and Deilert has been a regular on the Djurgården team for the first 4-5 games. the last two (at least, I haven't seen any of their games yet. just read reports) he has been playing on the top defensive pair with former NHL veteran Marcus Ragnarsson. He's been pretty good, not awesome but he seems to be handling himself well as a 19 year old in SEL.
I agree. He's been playing really well averaging 12:51 per game which is 5th on the team among blueliners. As a completely unrelated comparison Oilers pick Johan Motin is putting Tim Ramholt to shame by averaging 2 seconds of ice-time per game so far.
Good to hear abut Deilert; thank you for that information. Hopefully he can keep it up. Would be interesting to see if Sutter brings him over for next year's training camp.
