Bochenski = Kris Beech, and vice versa too.

Zenon is a good player...I'm kind of surprised that he hasn't found a home yet.

He could play third line minutes on a fantasy league team ONLY.

No NHL team would put such a limited, defensively liable player near their #3 line.

They demand that 3rd liners play defense in The Show.

I hope they bother get claimed. Kenopka is better than some 4th liners in the NHL and Bochenski puts up decent stats, I think he just needs to stick wtih a team for a year or so. It can't help that he is moved so much.

I see more like:

Bochenski = Schremp

Only difference between the 2 are Bochenski will play more NHL games and Schremp will get more hits on youtube!

33 goals and 33 assists in 35 games for Norfolk in the AHL in '06-'07. This guy clearly has some talent. Not sure why he can't put it together in the NHL...

Both him and konopka will be given the chance next year. Think about it Recchi and Roberts on one year contracts, with these two on two year first year two way second year one way contracts, they are going to be given a choice to make the team either with injuries this year or from camp next year.

Konopka seems like an Melrose type player and seems like he would be solid 13th or 14th forward. Wonder if Tampa will find a taker for Ouellet

I dont get why Konopka cant find a home as solid as it gets for a 4th liner but can easily play on most 3rd lines as a shut down player.
Soft teams like the Kings,Florida etc should be lining up to get his services for the league minimum

I'd like to see Anaheim claim Zenon back again, not many Ducks fans were happy with him being traded away to begin with.

I was. Dude plays with a lot of heart but I'm determined he plays with too much heart and not nearly enough talent. He's just too much out there. Takes way too many penalties and doesn't have the skills to stay in the NHL. There's a reason why he can't find a home.

I always wondered about that too. Poor guy....

I guess they were both placed in Norfolk. They had until noon eastern time today, and I guess nobody else picked them up.

I think Konopka will be put back on the team after the Lightning's trip in Europe. I think they wanted to bring Koci instead because he was born in Prague.

No. According to the St. Pete Times the waiver season begins today and we won't know until Monday if they cleared.

Bochenski can absolutely rip it. That's it. Slow skater, poor work ethic, mediocre passer. Sakic-like wrister.
