to say henrik has been terrible is to let him off the hook. im really concerned, allt he goals were low shots, im wondering how much his knees really are bothering him.

The problem is that it's automatic....it's an absolutely stupid rule. 2 minutes for Boarding sure...but to automatically kick the guy out is dumb. It's not the refs fault though, it's the rulebooks fault.

Are we awful in this or what??? Watched from the start of 2nd and noting orks for us. And piss poor goaltending (except from Wiikman) continues.

Hope for a reply of last year. Hank looked even more shaky in the pre season followed by a out of earth performance during the first 2 months of the season. Can it happen again?

Complete domination by the Devils in all facets.

Rangers look extremely sluggish, and I have a feeling mentally they are already in Europe.

Looking back at the 1st 3 preseason games, they were dominating both ends of the ice by a mile. But the six games in nine days has finally taken a toll. Even Dubinsky looks flat.

Let the Devils get their wins in the preseason. They don't scare me at all.

Really refs, really? I'll take the 5-on-3, but really?

Nice play by Naslund and Gomer, that was really nice, this is why Gomez makes what he does.

It's really only 50% of the Devils. About 1/2 this team on the ice is AHL.

Naslund could have scored two, but decided up a prime chance earlier.

Corrente, their uber-prospect just got undressed. Don't think that helps his case for making the team

For a supposed future "Scott Stevens", Correte looked horrendous on that Naslund goal. Just amateur hour.

If he can't unseat minor league scrubs like Mottou and Brookbank, he can't be too great.

So is it 50% of the Devils or 1/2 AHL?

Who are you missing? A washed out Zajac and Parise. That's a lot. The score should be 2-1 right now.

Yeah, but your regulars are the only ones doing anything. Your minor leagues haven't done much at all out there.

He has ZERO chance of making the team and has looked terrible in the preseason. He's only 20 years old.... they hype around him IMO is ridiculous. Lets see him in 3 years when he's 23 IMO.

From an unbiased standpoint, Elias has been strong today.

Ironically, no he really never seemed to make mistakes. If he did, he usually recovered and stopped the play.

Uhhhh...... Brodeur?

Almost the entire defense too (except White and Oduya....Brookbank isnt a top-6)

Parise and Zajac yes.. also the Captain Jaime Langerbrunner along with 2 of the best defensive forwards in the NHL in John Madden and Jay Pandolpho.

They're trying to give a lot of the AHL guys and rookies a look in preseason which is why so much of the NHL team isnt playing today

Thanks for the update professor. I think I know that already. I don't care if you had the entire 95 Cup Team, the Devils just aren't that good anymore, aren't considered Cup contenders anymore, have a terrible farm system, have had a terrible recent draft record, and did nothing to improve their biggest weakness from last season, which was your defense corps. They got older, slower and are pinning their hopes of making past the 1st round on Holik and Rolston.

Like I said, you guys don't scare me.
