Those Sens fans..

Are we like building a rivalry with the Sens on those pre-season games? Seems like they already hate us!

They didn't looked too good against the Habs even though they won yesterday against our Calder cup contenders, after the rout in Montreal on friday I thought they would have wanted to make things clearer for us..

They do have that funny lampshade thread on their board to help stir it up..

I don't give Ottawa much thought. They're kind of like Robert Barone.

I never really got why they hate us that much.

... And I never really got why I should care.

they are jealous. have you ever gone to a game at scotiabank place when Montreal or Toronto is not in town? I had free tickets and did. Feels like we are in Phoenix there is no athmosphere.

go again but this time when montreal is there....the montreal fans put the ottawa fans to shame

they can also see how their team went from contenders to potentially not make the playoffs...that would probably get to fans of any team....especially when was the last time they did not make the playoffs? its been a while and they know its around the corner. if not this year its coming

the only rivalry i care about are the ones we have with the leafs and bruins. the sens are like the mentally challenged (is that the PC term these days?) cousins you invite to x-mas dinner to be nice, and make them sit at the kiddie table.

Ditto. I was about to post something exactly like that. Sens fans and the Sens themselves are not important enough to get worked up over. The Leafs and the Bruins is where it's at.

Meh

My favourite part is when we beat them 5-0 and they were very quick to remind us that they were 3 times better when Alfredsson was in the lineup. However, they ridicule us reminding them that they just beat the Habs' "B Team" 3-1.

Oh well, it's kinda cute to watch them act as if we have a rivalry

It's carzy when you think that if Quebec city would have a team, the Montreal/Quebec rivalry would become the crack/coaine of the NHL, and the Quebec city fans would be crazy about their team, thanking the gods of hockey for having one, and Ottawa is a like tasteless team with three players but no heart, and i dont think less of their fans.

Exactly!

Making up a thread to complain about them specifically is just NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!

And yet you quote me instead of the thread opener. I'm not sure you know how this whole internet thing works.

haddock didn't make this thread. the thread is here, so we post in it. i think even sens fans have got to admit their level of immaturity as of recent is a little over done. this isn't aimed at you specifically, but at the sens fanbase in general...inferiority complex much?

It's much too serious around here for pre-season.

None of this matters.

Sens > AHL.

But meh, I agree with Haddock. The Sens are for from being a rivalry and important enough to get worked up over.

Most of us are a little out of shape, have gravelling voices and need notes when we're making speeches.

Anyway, I'm glad to hear that there's no rivalry.

Is that ever a relief!

Next year, send that lady (avy) center ice if you want to inspire your Sens players
