Kippers got a new mask?

Only pic I've seen of him from tonights game, looks like he's rockin' a new mask.

Anyone have any other pics of his new lid?

Seems, like he has a similar motive, but different colors (red skulls).

Can't say I'm a huge fan based on this pic. Too much white on the top drawing my eye away from the red skulls.

That's a good thing. It will distract shooters making them go Francois Beauchemain rather than score.

Mask is much improved but will never be as good as the original.

Yep I agree I do not like the white back ground and the red skulls, but as with the shoulder patches I will get used to it.

His original was the best IMO.

Is there a graphic in the white between the skulls?

on a larger version i found it looks to me like its just the itech logo and just the contours of the mask that make it look like something might be there

i like it, it gives kipper a whole new 'look' while staying true to his old masks.

I agree it'll be tough to beat the original, but I'm glad he's switched it up from last year. The grey on black really dulled up a wicked mask.

Thanks for the better res Lunatik, pretty much confirms it's basically the same mask with '34' instead of 'Kipper' (...and I'd rather it be 'Kipper').

The new mask definitely matches his new pads

I don't mind it, But the biggest change in my opinion is he is using a neck guard!

Surprised no one mentioned it!

Noticed that as well when I was watching the hilights of the game tonight. Looked very odd and will take some getting used to.

I love it personally. Keeps the theme and i've wanted Kipper to change it up for so long.
