Interesting to see both Lapierre & Chipchura in the game.... the last good battle in camp and both players looking for the same spot.

I hope D'Agostini takes some shifts with Chips as well.

Dandenault.... ouch, that's not gonna help Chipchura's cause any.

I'll wager we get to find out who's the better PK between the 2 guys tonight.

Does anyone know what the expected Habs lineup is for tomorrow night's game against the Bruins? I'm trying to decide to go to the Wings game or the Bruins.

Basically he said he knew Maxwell would not be going back to Kootney and would be playing pro, Montreal or Hamilton.
Had only nice things to say about him and his game.

Chipchura is the one with the two-way contract. He won't push anyone anywhere in that situation.

Gainey will take the best possible player, and if that means trading or waiving someone to fit him in, he will do it.

Hopefully the top line plays for us tonight for the sheer highlight fun they always provide. If worried about them staying healthy for the start of the season, they could then be rested tomorrow night against the Bruins (or they could play and wipe the floor with them as per) and get in a final warm up against the Wild on Saturday.
I also want to see him alongside a markov but only to see how he looks alongside a premier veteran like andrei (much like the treatment pacioretty is getting tonight).

Weber played with Markov for a large part of the Florida game sunday.

I'm curious to see how Pac plays with Kovalev, figuring where to go isn't the easiest thing for a player to do with Kovy, I wonder how he'll adapt.

Well, I'm not really staring wistfully out the window, wondering, just curious.

I am going to the Boston game...you can certainly expect:

Markov
A. Kostitsyn
Higgins
Koivu
Maxwell

to be playing for sure...Halak is already announced as the starter.

Halak will get a chance to redeem himself for the 8-3 game but I'd rather have Price play against the Bruins so that he could redeem himself for a couple of clinkers in the playoffs.
