I lose the Montreal radio stations at night, but my Bell package includes CJAD. So Iset up stuffed animals in my office, put beer bottles in front of them and watch the blank screen. Every now and then I make a comment, then answer myself in a different voice.

Yes, I'm a lonely man.

Anyone read this?

http://www.thetelegram.com/index.cfm?sid=173910&sc=83

I always liked Ryder as he seemed like a generally nice guy, he worked hard and didn't appear to complain. Furthermore, I would like to see him get his career back on track, even if it has to be with the Bruins. But, this is the second article where he has alluded to the idea that it was the Montreal organization that was at fault for his poor year. While that might have some truth behind it (Carbo has came out and stated that he needs to communicate better) when is he going to take some responsibility for it as well? He played poorly, he wasn't putting the puck in the net and he got out-played by S. Kostitsyn, and yet he continues to blame external sources.

"Michael Ryder stands in the lobby of his team's Halifax hotel with a smile as bright and a laugh as crisp as the first day of autumn in Atlantic Canada."

All the HD equipment is very, very expensive. They probably just figure it's not worth it for the pre-season.

he doesn't know what happened? He got beat out by a younger and cheaper player who has more of a complete game than ryder. Deep down inside, I'm sure he knows that.

After everything is said and done, Ryder should be fine under julien and the habs should be fine without him. He got a great contract out of the bruins. Its a win-win.

That sounds pretty likely, although it would be nice to see Maxpac again tonight!

should be in for a great game, as habs look to redeem themselves for game 1 blow out.

I will be there, looking forward to it!!

Might as well add the D pairings.

A. Kostitsyn-Plekanec-Kovalev
Higgins-Koivu-Tanguay
D'Agostini-Lang-Latendresse
Kostopoulos-Chipchura-Stewart

Bouillon-Brisebois
Gorges-Dandenault
O'Byrne-Weber

Definitely the best line-up we've iced so far as it's pretty close to the real thing. The D is real weak though, Halak will have to be really good. But liking the looks of those forwards!

The other good news is that Hamrlik took part in full practice today.

Bruins look to have pretty much their whole lineup for the game..give or take Ward on defence and Thomas in net.

P.J. Axelsson Marc Savard Michael Ryder
Marco Sturm Patrice Bergeron Chuck Kobasew
Milan Lucic Stephane Yelle Blake Wheeler
Jeremy Reich Vladimir Sobotka Shawn Thornton

Zdeno Chara Dennis Wideman
Andrew Alberts Matt Hunwick
Mark Stuart Shane Hnidy

Manny Fernandez
Tuukka Rask

Well if Stewart wants to make an impression tonight...there won't be a better opportunity too.

Because, I don't understand why you can't have a guy like Flinn sitting at the end of the bench when, you know, dolts like Thornton are going too be running around.
