Nice to see D'Ago finally getting a shot on a scoring line.

Because, I don't understand why you can't have a guy like Flinn sitting at the end of the bench when, you know, dolts like Thornton are going too be running around.
Simple. Because he was cut.
Henry, on the other hand...

I wouldn't get so excited too quickly. We're missing all of our top 3 defensemen.

That's my point, though; Laraque is out until the middle of the month (ish) and you have one more pre-season game against Boston, why cut Flinn?

Even he'd do.

I believe that Henry is still with the team for the same reasons Carle is. He hurt his back and might still be hurt. Reasn with Martin McGuire said that they are using Dandenault on D 'cause the guys that would have been available are hurt.....and Henry has to be included in this list.

WTF is with this lineup?
No Pacioretty? what the hell is that all about?
Why no Markov? He didn't play last night...are we scared some Bruin scrub will target him or something ?
Dandenault on defence?
O'Byrne on the left side AGAIN? what the hell are they trying to accomplish other than crush his confidence?
I am going to the game and I REALLY wanted to see Pacioretty, so yes I am bummed!

Markov is the one player in the team you cannot afford to lose to an injury since there is no way you can replace him. The bruins will play tough.
Sergei Gonchar. This should be your answer.

« Il faut être réaliste. Max a joué 36 ou 37 matchs l'an dernier, en plus de 5 matchs préparatoires. Hier, il s'est démené. On voulait le reposer. »
Yeah right...rest him for what? the last pre-season game in 3 days from now when the full lineup will likely be playing?

Maybe rest him so he doesn't get injured and hamper his development?

For Hamilton.
The point of preseason games is to evaluate the potential of young players. Do you think we evaluated Pacioretty's potential enough? I think so - and it's huge. The next thing to evaluate is consistency in a competitive setting - this will probably happen during the start of the season in Hamilton.
Either great game or a bad game from Max would bring little for his assessment. Now it's time to use the next games for the other young players still to be evaluated.

I am sitting somewhere in the blues.
Gagnon thinks Markov may be slightly injured, which is why he ain't playing.
