Ya, I think that's a pretty good comparison.

see Carey Price, and Andrei Kostitsyn 6 months ago

I think that the day with the easy wins are over.....It's about time for them they can't always based their hope in fights and bodychecks, they have to have some kind of faith that they actually have a hockey team on their hands. And they might just be having that so good for them.

But I think it will be great for us. We went on surfing in the playoffs 'cause it was too easy for us in the regular season, we were skating around them while they were falling on their faces trying to stop us. Now with a little more competion, we'll be ready come playoff time.

'Cause contrary to the Booins fans, playoffs are what's real important, not preseason...Though it's understandable, any moral victories they could have.....

Mmm. With this defense, I think the Bruins are going to play a lot in our zone. Anyway, if they win tonight Bruins fans are going to be so happpppppppppy. Let's just crush'em when it counts, like we usually do.

Wow. I underestimated them. Though I miss the Cam Neely II talk. It was pretty hilarious.

"Montreal are better off without Laraque anyway, it's not like he alone will make them any tougher. They will still be the softest team in the league."

I've never paid through paypal so I can't really answer that. But if there is anyway you can call the box office ahead of time to confirm. I would definitely do that.

Imagine if the Bruins had signed Laraque? We'd never hear the end about them being the "toughest team in the league".

Hell they've already turned Ryder into a 40-goal scorer...

How about 20 paper planes first... Good ones though...I heard his design was flawed.

Something actually tells me that you'll see me on RDS after the opening home game, seeing the highlights of me beating a guy with a Bruins jersey up. Man do I hate them...

Don't waste you time and energy, they're the loosers, they're the ones who've been losing to the habs for decades, who can't win the Cup, who can't manage to beat this team on the score sheet (that's why they want so badly to beat up the players physically).

You shouldn't care one bit and finding really funny (in a very condescending way) that they make fun of the "soft" euros, they're "dive", the Ole chant... well anything but the actual game... that they're going to loose anyway, when it will really matters.

They're the ones who should hate us, and they do, not us... I actually like the Bruins, no matter how, we end up winning the vast majority of the time...

This will be a good game tonight, Carbo will have the boys redeeming themselves for the showing in Halifax...our D tonight looks a little suspect, but we should score some goals!

There's an argument to be made that Laraque alone doesn't guarantee "team toughness" but I still maintain that his presence can change the tempo/complexion of a game. Forget the deterrent angle that usually gets played out when discussing enforcers/policemen, BGL is a guy who generally wins in decisive fashion, that alone is generally enough to get the affect the crowd, the opposition and his team-mates.

The other nugget of misinformation regarding Laraque is the oft trotted out canard that he won't be able to play when it counts (read: in the post season) yet he played in every game of every series save for the finals against Detroit.

Agreed. Boston is a loser franchise that has become insignificant.

They love to rag on us, but look at their team. Savard and Bergeron are huge floppers. Savard is a wimp who BITES other players. Lucic is a crossdresser. They have nothing to be proud of.
