Les Bruins de Boston tenteraient activement d'échanger le joueur de centre Marc Savard.
Selon le Boston Herald, une transaction majeure pourrait se tramer, mais Savard devrait accepter de laisser tomber sa clause de non-échange.
The Bruins are apparently actively shopping no.1 centre Marc Savard. Accord to the Boston Herald, a blockbuster trade could be coming soon, but Savard would have to accept to lift his NTC beforehand.

if this is true, i see san jose and boston doing a switch...it would make sense but i dont think the B's are looking for a Marleau kind of player ( but he plays a lot on the wing for a center)...
they must be looking for a winger....a team that is looking for a center and can give a winger or maybe a D-man.....i dunno
I really don't get the point to trade they're star forward... the only one scary offensively (Bergeron is solid... but let's wait for the season to begin before saying his back to his old form)
They still need offence badly and trading Savard would make no sense at all... but their management has been known to make insane trade...

Hey, it's not like they don't have a history of sending their star players to SJ for crap

Savard to Washington for Semin. Imagine Savard and Ovy...

Would a swap Gaborik-Savard make sense?
They need goalscorers. Not playmakers. Semin could be an option.
Not from Minny's PoV. They need a centre for Gabby, not Gabby for a centre.

I agree but savard has proven himself in the last 2-3 years with his stats and performances.. he was the best B's player in the playoffs vs habs last year IMO
The way I understand this, their GM has said that he wouldn't rule out a deal. It seems clear that a quality d man is the target, Chiarelli remembers the d corps they had in Ottawa and would love to have something similar.
I think Savard's just speculation. Kaberle is the guy that makes sense, not only for Boston {Asterix].
Toronto doesn't need Savard. It makes little sense imo. He'd make a bad team better and accomplish nothing. Maybe if they had a taker for Savard but.....
I don't see Savard/Marleau,, why bother ? I see youth to Toronto for a d man whose name starts with K.

Semin, a soft euro, who dives and has a scoring touch, that wouldn't work... oh, wait, if he's not a hab but a bruin I guess he's a star...
They say they would like a puck moving star d-man... Kaberle is as good as they get, but they're forwards would be so ******, it's sad... but I guess they're going Anaheim's way and us Detroit's...
Don't be surprised if hes sent to Phoenix, or Hell if somehow Tampa or NYR make enough salary cap room magically a deal can be struck. But Phoenix or Nashville wouldn't surprise me. Nashville is bleeding out from the last Radulov wound, so they will be crap for Forwards, except maybe Arnott. Savard for a Defender (they are loaded with them) isn't too far from a possible block buster. Also Phoenix managed to get Olli in that steal trade, I think Savard would help cultivate their youngsters, and create a massive threat. (Olli, Hanzal, Turris, Mueller, Boedker, Tikhonov, Savard) that looks like a pretty scary line to play against. Maybe not as scary this year, but in the next 2-3 years, definitely.
Tampa
Nash
NYR
Phoenix
Those are the ones who I think are in the running.
