Or it could have also been the fact that I read it in an Anglo-Irish Literature class. Compared to some of the other **** I had to read in there, half of which was in some Gaelic/ Irish slang/ god knows what language, it wasn't so bad. My cup of tea is geared toward mostly Gothic lit and twisted ****. Chuck Palahniuk and David Sedaris are two of my favorite current writers. Never read Kafka, though. Go figure, an English major who never had to read The Metamorphosis.

I'm a fan of horror and crazy stuff. I love Dean Koontz and his stuff. I'm always a big fan of anything with zombies too haha or crazy/disturbing facts. I went to the Mutter museum over the weekend and bought some book with gross/disturbing facts, it is a fun read.

I've been wanting to get there for years now, and haven't gotten around to it. Mostly because I can't find anyone who wants to go with me. Apparently to some people, my interests in some things are really disturbing haha.
And Horror Lit was the best class I've ever taken. I read some weird ass stories in there. And you can never go wrong with Zombies.

Well just let me know when you want to go, it is pretty intense though. I like gore and horror (LOVE the SAW films), but the baby stuff is pretty disturbing.

I wish I could have taken a Horror Lit class, i just took Short Stories to get my Lit over and done with as it was the only thing available that fit my schedule.

Yea I've read World War Z, Zombie Survival Guide, The Resident Evil books are surprisingly entertaining.

I don't think any title is going to be met with 100% approval. I used this title for #7 because it seemed to be the most popular towards the end of #6 when it was suggested by one person and there was some agreement at the beginning of #7.

From my understanding, headline writers differ from those who write articles but the first sentence should have served as evidence...

Flyers send down Giroux; Downey injury not serious

Hotshot rookie winger Claude Giroux was assigned to the AHL Phantoms, and an MRI showed that Steve Downie's injured left knee is not severely damaged.

My friend and I went there a few years ago, because we too, like that kind of wierd stuff. It was definitely interesting, but we felt kinda funny being there with a lot of other people that were there as med students, or field trips, or other people that HAD to go..while we just went cuz we wanted to.

I have to second this idea. If we're going to give names to each thread, let's correspond the number with a Flyers great (or any Flyer if that number isn't particularly special).

How about we combine the two thoughts since they are somewhat related? There seems to be support for both headings.

THE BARBER SHOP IS OPEN... HARTNELL IS HANDZUS

IMO its too long.

Like storm said, maybe we should just start using the #s of the old Flyers.

So 7th Obsequious Banter Thread - Bill Barber

Niskala looking pretty good for the Lightning today. CBC has twice referred to him as the 'former Flyer'...... and that Recchi spent parts of last season with Atlanta and Philadelphia.
